Nicosia, Mar 11 (CNA) -- Greece's National Defence Deputy Minister Ioannis Lambropoulos has called on Turkey to contribute to the solution of the Cyprus problem and stop disputing Greece's sovereign rights, if it would like to carry on with its European course.

Polish President to pay official visit to Cyprus

Nicosia, Mar 11 (CNA) -- Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski will pay an official visit to Cyprus between 16 - 17 March, Government Spokesman Kypros Chrysostomides announced today.

He said an official welcoming ceremony will be held at the Presidential Palace on 17 March followed by a meeting between Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos and Kwasniewski.

Official talks will then take place between delegations from the two countries. Kwasniewski will attend a lunch hosted in his honour by President Papadopoulos.
