    Cyprus House President pays official visit to Armenia

    Nicosia, Oct 18 (CNA) -- Cyprus House of Representatives President Demetris Christofias began today a three-day official visit to Armenia, as head of a parliamentary delegation, at the invitation of Armenia's National Assembly President Arthur Baghdasaryan.

    Cyprus FM to visit Egypt

    Nicosia, Oct 18 (CNA) -- Cyprus Foreign Minister George Iacovou leaves this afternoon for Cairo where he will meet Egyptian government officials and sign with his Egyptian counterpart an agreement for that abolishment of visas for diplomatic, official and special passports.

    Tomorrow Iacovou will meet with Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif.

    After the meeting he will hold consultations with Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Ghelt with whom he will sign the agreement.

    The two ministers will then give a joint press conference.

    On Wednesday, Iacovou will be received by Egypt's President Mohamed Hosny Mubarak.
