No statements were made after the meeting which took place in the presence of Greek Foreign Minister Petros Molyviatis and Cypriot Ambassador in Athens Leonidas Pantelides. It is understood that the two leaders discussed latest developments in the Cyprus problem and European Union matters. [02] Weather forecast for Cyprus1345:CYPPRESS:03Weather forecast for Cyprus Nicosia, Aug 26 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus: Friday and Saturday: 27/8/2004 to 28/8/2004 ------------------------------------------- The weather will be fine, with some temporal cloud inland during afternoon, while gentle to moderate sea breezes are likely. During night time patchy mist is likely, while the wind will prevail light catabatic. The state of sea is expected smooth to lsight. The minimum temperature will range from 19 over the mountains, to 22 degrees over the coastal areas and inland. The maximum temperature will range from 30 degrees over the mountains the western and northern coastal areas, to 34 degrees over the southern and eastern coastal areas and to 38 inland. [06] Commerce minister: Cyprus would welcome arrangements for free movement of goods1903:CYPPRESS:06Commerce minister: Cyprus would welcome arrangements for free Nicosia, Aug 26 (CNA) -- The Cyprus Government would welcome any practical arrangement on behalf of the regime in the Turkish occupied areas of Cyprus that would allow the unhindered movement of goods from the government-controlled areas to the occupied areas, Cyprus Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism George Lillikas has said today. Lillikas added that any arrangement on behalf of the illegal for trade of goods from the free to the occupied areas would consist ''an action that would have an immediate economic benefit for the Turkish Cypriots and would contribute to their economic development.''
