ÁÇÉ points out to John Kerry need for just Cyprus settlement

Nicosia, Aug 3 (CNA) -- In a letter sent yesterday to US Democratic Presidential Candidate, Senator John Kerry, the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) stressed the US, in its own best interests, should support a just and lasting resolution to the Cyprus conflict that applies American values and democratic standards, including the rule of law, majority rule and protection of minority and human rights.

Cyprus and Greece FMs to coordinate action

Nicosia, Aug 3 (CNA) -- Delegations of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and Greece meet here tomorrow to coordinate action regarding issues of mutual interest pending before the UN Security Council, the European Union and the Council of Europe.

Soon after the meeting at the Foreign Ministry, the two delegations will present their suggestions to Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos, during a meeting at the Presidential Palace.
