Cyprus President satisfied with EU constitution
Nicosia, Jun 20 (CNA) -- Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos has said
he was fully satisfied with the adoption of the Convention for the
Constitution of Europe by the European Union and stressed the
significance of provisions that the constitutions of member states
should be in line with the Convention.
Speaking on his return from the EU summit in Brussels, President
Papadopoulos said he wished to see experts scrutinize provisions of a
UN solution plan for Cyprus to establish whether they are consistent
with the EU constitution.
