UN envoy to be principle go-between to encourage dialogue

United Nations, Dec 6 (CNA) -- The UN Secretary General's Spokesman,
Fred Eckhard, said today that ''now that the comments from the two
sides are in'', the UN Chief's Special Adviser on Cyprus Alvaro de Soto
''will be the principle go-between, encouraging the two sides to
continue a dialogue''.
