sources said By Apostolis Zoupaniotis United Nations, Nov 8 (CNA) The
UN intends to deliver on Monday a plan for an overall settlement of the
Cyprus problem, reliable sources said Friday.
The UN, however, could not confirm the report.
UN Secretary-Generals Special Advisor, Alvaro De Soto will hand over
the plan to Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides while UN Deputy
Secretary-General Kieran Prendergast will simultaneously present it to
Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash, the sources said.

Cypriot leader Rauf Denktashs return to the Turkish occupied north of
Cyprus will be delayed for another week since doctors decided here
Friday not to remove both tubes draining his lungs, following open
heart surgery last month.
During medical examinations Friday, doctors said they would remove the
second tube next week.
