Green Party appeals to British Premier to solve antenna issue

Nicosia, Aug 25 (CNA)-- The Movement of Ecologists and Environmentalists, Cyprus' Green Party, has sent a letter to British Prime Minister Tony Blair to protest against the erection of a huge antenna by the British at one of their bases here.

"I trust that due to the seriousness of the matter you will take the time to look into it closer and find a way to work out a solution of the issue", a letter dated August 23 and signed by MP George Perdikis says.
