The two leaders met for 40 minutes this morning at the residence of the UN Secretary-General's Acting Special Representative Zbigniew Wlosowicz, situated in the UN-controlled buffer zone in Nicosia. They exclusively discussed the question of missing persons. The second meeting will also take place at Wlosowicz's residence. The two leaders met earlier this morning for 40 minutes. Both meetings take place at the residence of the UN Secretary-General's Acting Special Representative Zbigniew Wlosowicz, situated in the UN-controlled buffer zone in Nicosia. On his way to the second meeting, President Clerides was accompanied by Under-Secretary to the President Pantelis Kouros and Presidential Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs Takis Christopoulos. President Clerides entered the buffer zone, near Nicosia airport under UN control since the 1974 Turkish invasion and occupation of Cyprus' northern third, in the presidential car bearing the Cyprus Republic flag.
