Nicosia, DEC 3 (CNA) - The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus:

Tuesday and Wednesday: 4/12/2001 to 5/12/2001

The weather will be unstable and showery. The temperature between 10C min. and 18 max. over the coast and between 08C minimum and 15C max. inland.

Outlook for Thursday and Friday: 6/12/2001 to 7/12/2001

The weather continuing showery with the temperature between 10C min. and 18 max. over the coast and between 08C min and 15C max. inland.

Sea Temperature: 19C

Nicosia, Dec 3 (CAN) -- China will certainly do its best together with the rest of the international community to see that a just solution to the Cyprus question is reached, China's Ambassador to Cyprus Song Aiguo said here today, after a meeting with House President Demetris Christofias.

Nicosia, Dec 3 (CNA) -- Tuesday's meeting between the Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides and the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community Rauf Denktash offers "a window of opportunity", which if not seized, would make it difficult to see how the peace talks could move forward, Australian envoy for Cyprus Jim Short believes.
