[01] Cyprus hosts European Auditors annual meeting
Nicosia, Nov 25 (CNA) -- Cyprus is playing host to the annual meeting of
European Auditor Generals, from 25-27 November, with the participation of
more than 20 auditors from candidate countries seeking membership of the
European Union.
"This is a very important meeting for Cyprus as it will give us the
opportunity to exchange notes and discuss technical matters, including the
draft for a blueprint for auditing, accountability, transparency and
effective management of public funds and other resources," Cyprus Auditor
General Chrystalla Giorkadji has told CNÁ.|
