[01] Anti-occupation march - Morphou - Foreign participants
Nicosia, Oct 13 (CNA) -- European parliamentarians, on the island to
participate in Sunday's anti-occupation march organized by Morphou
municipality, have expressed their solidarity with the people of Cyprus for
justice and freedom, stressing the urgent need to address regional problems,
including the Cyprus question, following last month's terrorist attacks in
the US.
Participants to the rally also pointed out that Cyprus' accession to the
European Union would facilitate a political settlement.
