1725:CYPRESS:02 Cyprus - Credentials - Ecuador Nicosia, June 18 (CNA) - President of Ecuador Gustavo Noboa Bejerano received the credentials of Cyprus' new Ambassador to the country Antonis Toumazis, assuring that Ecuador's support to Cyprus was and will remain unlimited. An official press release issued today notes that Toumazis, who is based in Mexico, informed Noboa about developments in the Cyprus problem and the recent European Court of Human Rights decision that found Turkey guilty of mass violations of human rights in Cyprus, divided since 1974, when Turkey invaded and occupied its northern third.
