[01] Foreign trade statistics - January 2001
Nicosia, May 12 (CNA) - Total imports and exports marked an increase in the
month of January 2001, compared to January 2000.
According to an official statement by the Statistical Service, European
Union countries supplied Cyprus with goods valued at 96,1 million (mn)
pounds or 52,4% and absorbed goods valued at 7,5 mn pounds or 49,8% of
Cyprus domestic exports, excluding shipstores.
