    [01] Weather forecast for Cyprus

    Íicosia, Ápr 9 (CNA) - The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus:

    Tusday and Wednesday: 10/04/2001 to 11/04/2001

    On Tuesday and Wednesday local showers are expected. Gentle to moderate southwesterly to westerly breezes will prevail during daytime and light katabatic winds during nightime.

    State of sea slight to moderate.

    On Tuesday maximum temperatures wll range between 23C and 25C, and o Wednesday around 20C. Minimum temperatures will range between 10C and 12C.

    Outlook for Thursday and Friday: 12/04/2001 to 13/04/2001

    On Thursday and Friday isolated local showers are possible. Maximum temperatures are expected to rise on Friday. Sea Temperature: 19C CNA/GP/2001

    [02] Cyprus - Yugoslavia- Spokesman

    Nicosia, Apr 9 (CNA) -- Cypriot authorities have uncovered two cases in which funds belonging to the Yugoslav people were channeled through the island's banking system and transferred elsewhere.

    "We are sending all relevant information and documents about these two cases to Yugoslavia," Government Spokesman Michalis Papapetrou said here today, adding that no Cypriots were involved in the transfer of funds and no law was violated.
