Nicosia, Nov 23 (CNA) -- The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) board vice- president Renos Christodoulides said today he was pleased with the new CSE premises, as they are more spacious and safe for employees, brokers and investors.

The CSE closed last Friday to move from a building near the centre of the capital Nicosia to a much larger place (IMC building) on the main highway that leads out of town.

Nicosia, Nov (CNA) -- Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides has said the European Council to be held in Nice, France, next month should open the road for European Union enlargement, giving specific messages to both member states and candidate countries that new members will be accepted in the next three years.

Speaking at the European Conference held today in Sochaux, France, Kasoulides also outlined the Cyprus Republic's positions regarding EU institutional reforms.

Nicosia, Nov 23 (CNA) -- European Parliament rapporteur for Cyprus Jacques Poos arrives here tonight for a two-day official visit at the invitation of the Cyprus House Foreign and European Affairs Committee president Tassos Papadopoulos.

During his stay, the Cyprus rapporteur of the Foreign Affairs, Human Rights and Common Security and Defence Committee will be received by President Glafcos Clerides and House President Spyros Kyprianou and will have separate meetings with political party leaders.
