Larnaca, Apr 26 (CNA) -- Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides meets
today in Athens his Greek counterpart George Papandreou, their first
meeting since the recent elections in Greece, to discuss developments in
the Cyprus problem and the Republic's course of accession to the European
Union.
Replying to questions on European Union funding for bi-communal projects,
shortly before his departure at Larnaca airport, Kasoulides stressed they
have to have the consent of the Cyprus government and that they are not
directed towards the illegal regime unilaterally set up in the Turkish-
occupied northern part of the island.
