Nicosia, Mar 5 (CNA) - President Glafcos Clerides and UN Secretary
General's Special Adviser on Cyprus, Alvaro de Soto, who is on the island
for a familiarisation visit, set out this morning on a cruise in President
Clerides' boat round the Cyprus coast. UNFICYP's acting spokesman Charles
Gaulkin told CNA de Soto had accepted an invitation by President Clerides
to "enjoy the morning on the boat."

[02] House President - Leaving Hospital
Nicosia, Mar 5 (CNA) - House of
Representatives President Spyros Kyprianou is today leaving St. Mary's
hospital in London where he underwent major surgery last month but will
remain in the British capital for another two or three weeks before
returning to Cyprus. Kyprianou had on February 12 an operation to face an
unstable sternum, a complication that arose after an open-heart surgery he
underwent in the US on January 20.
