[01] Soccer tournament: Cyprus vs Romania
Nicosia, Feb 5 (CNA) -- Cyprus and Romania will clash tomorrow in the final
match of an eight-nation soccer tournament organised here by the Cyprus
Football Association.
The Cyprus team qualified for the final game after beating Armenia 3-2
in the extra time yesterday afternoon at GSP Stadium in Nicosia. The 90-
minute match had ended in a 2-2 draw.
Kick off: 2.30 pm local time.

[02] Cyprus 2000 Budget - House - Approved
Nicosia, Feb 5 (CNA) - With only minor cuts the Cyprus 2000 State Budget
was approved in the early hours today.
It foresees expenditure at 2.007,4 billion pounds on net income of
1.366 billion. The deficit is estimated at some 660 million pounds higher
than the arrears of the 1999 budget.

[03] Cyprus - Israel - Business association
Nicosia, Feb 5 (CNA) - Cyprus and Israeli business people formed an
association to promote commercial, financial and business relations between
the two countries.
The Association is under the auspices of the Cyprus Chamber of
Commerce and Industry which places great emphasis on high technology,
something which Israel provides, said its President Vasilis Rologis.
