[02] Russia - Greece - Cyprus
Nicosia, Nov 29 (CNA) -- The Cyprus problem is among the issues which the
foreign ministers of Greece and Russia will discuss during a meeting in
Moscow tomorrow.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Vladimir Rahmanin in a statement in
view of tomorrow's working visit to Moscow of Greek Foreign Minister George
Papandreou said Russia is "satisfied with the present state of Russian-
Greek relations".

[03] Clerides - Schedule - Departure
Nicosia, Nov 29 (CNA) -- Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides leaves for New
York via Switzerland tomorrow Tuesday, where on Friday the UN sponsored
proximity talks on the Cyprus problem start on 3 December.
Before his departure Clerides will chair a meeting of the cabinet.
Earlier today, the President convened the National Council (top advisory
body to the President on the Cyprus problem) where parliamentary party
leaders discussed with the President and his advisors developments in view
of the talks.

[04] Greece - Turkey - Airspace violations
Athens, Nov 29 (CNA) -- Greek Government Spokesman, Demetris Reppas, said
today that Turkey's violations of Cyprus' airspace, during "Taurus '99"
military manoeuvres, are not a good sign towards improving Greco-Turkish
relations.
He said that "these moves are not positive, but quite the opposite",
adding that Greece will weigh "all the parametres" before deciding to vote
in favour of Turkey becoming a European Union candidate country, at the
forthcoming Helsinki summit.

[05] Cyprus Airways chairman - Resigns
Nicosia, Nov 29 (CNA) -- President of the island's national carrier Cyprus
Airways, Takis Kyriakides resigned here Monday from his post.
Kyriakides, who was recently appointed president of Lordos Hotel
Holdings, in a letter to President of the Republic Glafcos Clerides said
his new duties would not allow him to be fully involved with his duties as
Cyprus Airways chairman.
