[01] Limassol - Earth tremor
Nicosia, Nov 25 (CNA) -- An earth tremor measuring 4,3 on the Richter scale
was felt this morning in the southern coastal town of Limassol. No injuries
or damage have been reported.
According to a press release issued by the Geological Department the
tremor was recorded at 0718 local time (0518 GMT).

[02] Cyprus President - British High Commissioner
Nicosia, Nov 25 (CNA) -- Next month's UN-sponsored proximity will address
the substance of the Cyprus question and will be open to suggestions from
other interested parties present in the wings of the talks, British High
Commissioner to Cyprus Edward Clay has said.
He told the press after meeting today Cyprus President Glafcos
Clerides that the circumstances of these talks scheduled to start on
December 3 in New York differ from previous rounds in the sense they are
backed by "enormous power" from the international community which is
focused on efforts to find a solution.

[03] Seminar on Global Navigation Satellite Systems
Larnaca, Nov 25 (CNA) -- Cyprus aims at fulfilling the obligations
emanating from its membership in Eurocontrol Organisation for the Safety of
Air Navigation and its forthcoming accession to the European Union,
Minister of Communications and Works Averof Neophytou said here today.
Addressing a seminar on Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Neophytou
noted that "although small in size Cyprus has been assigned the
responsibility for the management of a large Flight Information Region",
adding that "Cyprus has to solve the problems of interface between the
European and the neighbouring regions".

[04] Greek Foreign Minister - Arrival
Larnaca, Nov 25 (CNA) -- Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou arrived
here this afternoon for talks with the Cyprus government and the political
leadership.
He was received at Larnaca International Airport by his Cypriot
counterpart Ioannis Kasoulides.
