Washington, Nov 13 (CNA) -- The US considers the Cyprus question as a "very
important issue" and has been working for the resumption of substantive
talks under UN auspices, Sandy Berger, National Security Advisor, has said.
Berger appeared doubtful as to whether progress can be achieved
towards this objective in President Clinton's forthcoming visits to Turkey
and Greece.
