The representatives of municipal assembly and economic life of Nevesinje informed Mrs. Plavsic about the problems in this region, between which are unsolved issue of accommodation for 8,000 refugees, lack of working resources for enlivening economy and bad tele-communicatons. Mrs. Plavsic has promised that she will determine priorities with the ministers in charge in RS Government and provide solving of these problems as soon as possible.MODRICA - The premier of RS Milorad Dodik stated in Modrica that RS expects a great assistance from German Government in solving problems of collective accommodation centres in which there are 7,000 persons, by which, as he said, would be created possibilities for realisation of the series of other projects on the whole territory of republic. At the press conference, organised on the occasion of visit of German Defence minister Vaulker Ruehe and beginning of the realisation of projects of rehabilitation of 180 housing units for refugees and city infrastructure in Modrica, stressed that this city "is a good example how RS could solve some of its problems". Talking about the return of refugees, the premier of RS said that now is difficult to say the number of those who will return, noting that first of all a good conditions for their return must be created. SARAJEVO - The president in Presidency of B&H from Croatian nation Kresimir Zubak stated in Sarajevo that the main political party of Bosnian Croats - Croatian Democratic Union /HDZ/ - must be dismissed and soon replaced with the new one. Zubak is convinced that the new party "will work on the full implementation of Dayton Agreement, which was not the case with HDZ, which international community is accusing for obstruction". JUN. 3, 1998 DAYNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKASARAJEVO - The members of the Presidency of B&H should sign in federal part of Sarajevo the contract with the World Bank. From the Cabinet of the president in Presidency of B&H from Republika Srpska Momcilo Krajisnik was stated for SRNA that the meeting, most probably, will be held in the National Museum.SARAJEVO - The president in the Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik congratulated to the Montenegro president Milo Djukanovic and their Coalition partners the victory at the early parliamentary elections. "I wish you, as the president of Montenegro, to direct your activities in the direction of overcoming disputes that are stirring Montenegro and FR Yugoslavia"- is said in the congratulation. BANJA LUKA - The president of Socialistic Party of RS /SPRS/ Zivko Radisic stated at the press conference in Banja Luka that the consultations of this party with other political parties are underway and that the Main board of SPRS at the session on June 11 will decide will it and with whom make a Coalition or alliance before the September's elections. Radisic announced that socialists made contacts with all parties, and the possibility of making agreement exist also in case of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/, "if it come out with the new platform in which the national and state interests will be over narrow party interests". BRCKO - In the village Bukvik near Brcko, which is in the Federation B&H /FB&H/, will be marked the graves of 65 Serbs killed in 1992. The president of the local Association of missing and captured persons Milorad Zimonjic stated for SRNA that in the presence of members of the state commissions and along with the assistance of survived witnesses will be found and marked 48 graves in Bukvik, six in Bosanska Bijela, seven in Cerik and four in Srnice. BRCKO - The mayor of Brcko Borko Reljic will organise in the hotel Ravena the farewell acceptance for international representatives who finished their job in these areas. ROME - The Italian Internal Ministry announced that the citizens of B&H who live in Italy for September's elections in B&H can vote by means of Post. "As it was in the September last year for the elections for local authorities this time too everybody who are enfranchised, and live, should address the closest registering centre and take over ballots and instruction" - is underlined in the announcement. BANJA LUKA - The six members delegation of the Greece caravan of solidarity from Athens arrived in the eight days visit to RS, where in the framework of its humanitarian mission they will deliver the cash aid to the children of killed Serbian veterans in numerous RS municipalities. The ministry for issues of veterans, war victims and victims of work in RS made a detailed programme of visit to RS municipalities which should be visited by the Caravan of solidarity from Athens from June 3 until 10. SIPOVO - In Sipovo was finished the delivering of humanitarian aid of International Orthodox Organisation /IOCC/ for 5,083 persons. According to the order of the World Food Programme, in the framework of which is acting the IOCC, the Centre for Social Work (welfare centre) in Sipovo from June 10 should make new social card for allocation humanitarian aid and forward it on assessment and approval. While addressing the believers the patriarch Pavle, after the liturgy, reminded that the Serbian people had renewed the monastery Trvdos, in order to pray in it to Lord and Holy Mother, to which icon are bowing believers from Trebinje and Hercegovina.TREBINJE - The premier of Republika Srpska /RS/ Milorad Dodik, who with president Biljana Plavsic participated in the Central Republican celebration of the eight centuries of Hilandar in monastery Tvrdos near Trebinje, stated that this jubilee shows that people lives, remains and exists in its belief and tradition. "Regarding that here are the representatives of the municipal authorities of Trebinje and different political options, this is the opportunity to talk about the concrete problems on the south of RS and to solve them jointly" - said Dodik, stressing that it is the "sign that we are not only the people which is turned towards the past, but the people which is more and more directed towards the future". LJUBINJE - The premier of RS Milorad Dodik stated during the visit to Ljubinje that the greatest result of the Government in last four months is the affirmation of RS in the world and that RS is the favourite of the Dayton agreement, stressing that the Government is in the opportunity, in the course of the year, to provide 500 millions of $US from the international community. dodik talked with the group of ministers in Ljubinje with the representatives of the municipal assembly, political parties, enterprises and other institutions. He warned that the part of responsibility for engaging foreign resources is on the municipalities and enterprises. The meeting was attended also by the vice-president of Government and minister for local selfgovernment Ostoja Kremenovic, Defence minister Manojlo Milovanovic, minister of Information Rajko Vasic, minister of religions Jovo Turanjanin and vice-president of Government and minister for veterans issues Tihomir Gligoric. BRCKO - The supervisor for Brcko Robert Farrand and members of the Commission for Brcko from RS and Federation B&H agreed at the meeting held in this city that the implementation of the peace process in Brcko would be continued in accordance with the Additional decision from March 15. The RS Commission, lead by Milorad Dodik, consisted of the deputy president of RS Government for general administration Ostoja Kremenovic, minister of agriculture, forestry and water management Milenko Savic, minister of sport and youth Milorad Karalic and the mayor of Brcko Borko Reljic. BELGRADE - The spokesman of the UN Office for liaison in Belgrade Dia Carter announced that the supervisor for Brcko RObert Farrand announced the Additional Arbitrage decision according to which the final decision about Brcko depends on cooperation of entities with his office. Carter stressed that the Arbitrage decision is in accordance with Dayton Agreement and authorisation which has Farrand, stressing that in this moment "Brcko is most open city in B&H", which, as he said, is tending towards "multi-ethnicity and intenationality". BANJA LUKA - The minister of internal affairs of RS Milovan Stankovic and minister of the federal MUP Mehmed Zilic with his deputy Jozo Leutar signed in Banja Luka the Protocol about cooperation of two ministries, according to which, with full respect of real and local competence, they will cooperate in securing the legal security of all citizens. According to the Protocol, the ministries will in accordance with their competence prevent any jeopardising rights of citizens in freedom of movement. Besides that, the ministries have committed themselves to fully protect the persons which are or are transported over another entity with the aim of stamping out terrorism and illegal trade. SERBIAN GORAZDE - The cantonal authorities from the federal part of Gorazde decided to break every relation with Serbian Gorazde, announcing that they will prevent return of Serbian refugees and cancel the decision about the status of GOrazde as an open city. About this the representatives of Serbian Gorazde were informed by the chief of UN Office in this city Naser Zahr, and as the reason for such decision is stated that in Serbian Gorazde do not exist the freedom of movement. PRISTINA - The president of the Parliamentary assembly of OSCE Javier Rouperez stressed in Pristina that international community do not accept any kind of secession in these regions. ROuperez, who lead the delegation of OSCE, stressed in the talks with the head of Kosovo county Veljko Odalovic and heads of other Kosovo counties that OSCE condemns any kind of terrorism. As stated in the announcement of the Provincial Secretariat for Information, Rouperez agreed that the solution of the problem can could be found only within the Republic of Serbia and FR Yugoslavia /FRY/. MOSCOW - The Russian minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeniy Primakov stated in Switzerland, where he is in the official visit, that Moscow is furthermore against tries for secession of Kosovo from the composition of Serbia, assessing that it could cause serious consequences. The media convey that Primakov stressed that Moscow do not approve deployment of foreign army in Kosovo without permission of UN Security Council and the will of authorities in Belgrade, as well as terroristic activities of Serbian Albanians and applying force. MOSCOW - The leader of the Russian Communistic Party Genadiy Zuganov stated that the opposition in Lower Home of Parliament will start the procedure for recall of the president Boris Yelzin. Zuganov stated at the press conference that already now was collected enough signatures with the demand for starting the procedure and that, according to the procedure, on one of next session will be demanded forming of the special commission. JUN. 3, 1998 EVENINGNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKASARAJEVO - The president in presidency of B&H from Republika Srpska /RS/ Momcilo Krajisnik signed in federal part of Sarajevo the agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development about the loan for urgent renewal of telecommunications in B&H in the amount of 35,4 millions DEM /around 18 millions of ECU/. "With the pleasure we signed this important contract which enables us to renew and develop telecommunications in RS and Federation B&H /FB&H/. By this we confirm our commitment for the openness towards Europe and the world" - stated Krajisnik pointing out on the significance of equal treatment of entities in the realisation of this project, what contributes to the better relations and better understanding in B&H. The contract, on behalf of the European Bank signed by its representative Dan Stefanescu, anticipates the money assistance for financing rehabilitation and widening local telecommunication networks damaged during the war.SARAJEVO - The presiding of the presidency of Serbian Democratic Party of Serbian states /SDS SZ/ Aleksa Buha scheduled the Third session of the Assembly of this party for June 8 and 9 in Pale with the beginning at 10,00 h. As foreseen by the Agenda, the members of the Assembly should choose the Work Presidency, Verification and Nomination commission and Electoral Board, and to verify the members of the Assembly. after that the presiding of the Presidency of SDS Mr. Buha will submit the statement. MOSTAR - The foundation of the new party under the name Croatian Democratic Community /HDZ/ of B&H is contrary to the Constitution of this party and we shall prevent that by the legally prescribed means - stated the president of HDZ of B&H Ante Jelavic reacting on the announcement of the president in Presidency of B&H Kresimir Zubak that he will establish new party under the same name. After the founding session of HDZ B&H in Mostar, Jelavic stressed that there do not exist two HDZ, "but only one, established at 1990" - reports the Croatian radio Herceg Bosna. PRISTINA - The Yugoslavian border guardians have prevented last night near the place Brod on the border with FYRM the group of armed Albanians to enter illegally into FR Yugoslavia /FRY/, as well as in the region of watch- tower "Dejan Radanovic", where last night around 19,00 h armed Albanians, who illegally came in from Albania, opened fire on the border patrol. As reports the Media centre from Pristina, according to the Command of the Pristina Corps of the Army of Yugoslavia, the assailants run away again on the territory of Albania after the Yugoslavian border guardians responded on fire. PALERMO - At the meeting of the ministers of Foreign Affairs of EU and Mediterranean partners in Palermo, Italy has called the Contact Group to consider the situation in Kosovo and Metohija "in the light of recent increase of violence" reports Reuters. The minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Lamberto Dini, responding on the question of journalists about the violence in Kosmet stated that "this issue is for Contact Group, and only they have to find out when it will meet". WASHINGTON - U.S.A. have threaten to the president of FRY Slobodan Milosevic with new imposing of economic sanctions if on Kosmet was continued to be applied force - reports DPA. The spokesman of American Ministry of Foreign affairs James Rubin stated that NATO started "the serious planning of the ways for preventing the escalation of the Kosovo conflict on Albania and Macedonia" and expressed "the ultimate concern because of conflicts in Kosovo". PODGORICA - The members of the Monitoring Mission of OSCE with Kare Volan at the head assessed in Podgorica that during the parliamentary elections in Montenegro were respected fully the recommendations of this organisation, which were related on the bringing electoral regulations and technical measures of control of elections - announced the Republican secretariat for information. While talking with vice-president of Montenegro Government Miodrag Vukovic, Mr. Volan have stressed that "he was impressed by the preparations of elections and conditions and democratic atmosphere in which they were conducted".
