"If the basic Serbian interests were jeopardised, I would no longer have moral responsibility to stay at the head of the Government" - the Premier explained. Summarising what the Government had done until then, the RS Prime Minister reminded that the Ministry of Internal Affairs had been united and a unique informative system established.PODGORICA - Last night in Podgorica the President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic announced he would soon visit the RS President and Prime Minister Biljana Plavsic and Milorad Dodik because of "positive signals which have been lately coming from RS, as well as from all B&H". Taking up some current problems in Kosovo, Djukanovic emphasised in the program "Izostreno oko" of Montenegrin Radio-Television that "Kosovo is a very neglected problem of Serbia and FR Yugoslavia (FRY), and for a quite long time nothing had been done on development of social and economic life in this province". SRBINJE - The representative of Serbian Radical Party (SRS) in RS National Assembly and president of SRS Municipal Board of Srbinje Zoran Nikolic is convinced that the final arbitration decision for Brcko will not be made on March 15, as it has been originally planned. "I am convinced that the final decision will not be made in the planned period for the simple reason that, through Brcko, the international community is trying to create a position from which it could blackmail RS in case she does not obey its demands", Nikolic explained for SRNA. HAGUE - A Serb Simo Zaric (49-years-old), suspected of having committed war crimes in former B&H from 1992 up to 1995, has been transferred in the Centre for Pre-Trial Confinement in The Hague during the last night, the spokesman of the War crimes tribunal Christian Charter stated - a correspondent of SRNA reports. According to him, interrogation of Zaric, who had voluntarily surrendered himself to the Tribunal yesterday, should begin on February 26. DOBOJ - Municipal Board of Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) (OO SDS) asked for OSCE to repeal the decision of its Sub-Appeal Commission by which it is forbidden for this party's president Milan Ninkovic to participate in the work of municipal parliament until municipal authorities were constituted. Doboj's SDS thinks it has been cooperative during implementation of local election's results, so that is why OSCE was asked to operate toward final verification of this municipality's administrative authorities. SREBRENICA - The deputy chief of OSCE mission in B&H Richard Elerkman will deliver proposal of solution for forming of local authority in Srebrenica, about which representatives of SDS, SRS and Coalition for Whole and Democratic B&H should state their opinion in writing tomorrow at latest. "If this proposal was adopted, international arbitrage, which would make the final decision on division of the local authority, would follow" - Elerkman warned. BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic and premier of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic concluded in Banja Luka that the links of these two republics are necessary on all levels, and especially cooperation of Herzegovina and Montenegro, is announced for SRNA from the Cabinet of president of RS. As stated in text, at the meeting they mainly talked about economic cooperation of RS and Montenegro in accordance with economic and social reforms which have got kick start in both countries. The president of RS and representatives of Montenegrian Government expressed the readiness for continuation of these contacts at the highest level, in order to realise concrete projects as soon as possible. BANJA LUKA - RS is particularly interested for use of positive experiences of Montenegro in the process of privatisation of property, stated in Banja Luka premier of RS Milorad Dodik after talks with premier of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic. The president of RS Government confirmed that, with his counterpart from Montenegro, he talked about improvement of economic cooperation of two republics, especially in the field of economic production, agriculture and industry. Mr. Dodik announced that for 15 days he will talk about same topics in Podgorica. The prime minister of Montenegro thinks that the cooperation of these two republics is necessity which, as he said, will be regulated by the special inter-state agreement, which would be signed soon. BANJA LUKA - The envoy of the German Government for refugees Ditmar Schle stated in Banja Luka, after the meeting with president of RS Government Milorad Dodik, that Germany will finance reconstruction of damaged housing in number of municipalities, in which refugees would return. Mr. Schle accentuated that German Government will, besides reconstruction and development of housing units, in these municipalities built nursery schools, clinics and facilities for water supplying. He precisely stated that first of all will be renovated homes in the region of Banja Luka, Prijedor and Modrica, in order to enable return of refugees and expelled persons in these cities. BANJA LUKA - RS Government will support the initiatives for faster and stronger links between economic entities from RS and FR Yugoslavia, i.e. Serbia and Montenegro - announced the premier of Srpska Milorad Dodik. While welcoming politically-economic delegation of Serbia, lead by president of New Democracy Dusan Mihajlovic and vice-presidents of Government Slobodan Radulovic and Svetozar Kostic, Dodik pointed out measures which enterprises has undertaken on affirmation of RS related to the matters of accelerated economic rehabilitation. BANJA LUKA - the vice-president of RS Government and minister for economic relations with foreign countries Savo Loncar during the meeting with the economic delegation of Austria in Banja Luka that "RS and its economists expect from Austria quick political, financial and economic step towards Srpska". "RS Government passed a series of legal regulations by which it will try to attract foreign capital and bring the economy of RS into the equal and competitive position with respecting enterprises in the world" - said Loncar. BRCKO - In Brcko tomorrow would arrive new police uniforms, by which would be established unique uniforming of employees of Ministry of Internal affairs /MUP/ on the whole territory of RS - learns SRNA. On that occasion in the centre of the city would be organised the festive parade of police at 14,00 h. BANJA LUKA - The Secretary General of the Socialistic Party of Republika Srpska /SP RS/ Zeljko Mirjanic assessed that the past work of RS Government "was successful, because it leads real policy based on economic reforms and Dayton Agreement". Citing the greatest results of the new government, Mirjanic, at the press conference in Banja Luka stressed that it is accepted by the international community, that it enabled broadcasting of the programming of the Serbian Radio-TV in the whole region of RS and established unique acting of MUP /police/. SARAJEVO - The members of the stabilisation forces will control the transmitters of Serbian Radio-TV until the next session of National Assembly of RS, followed by signing memorandum on understanding between SFOR and RS Government - stated the spokesman of SFOR major Peter Clark. In the statement for SRNA Mr. Clark said that after signing the memorandum would start the procedure agreed by memorandum. AMSTERDAM - The Serbian Orthodox Monastery Zitomislici, built in 1566 in Herzegovina, completely disappeared in 1993 when it was finally demolished by dynamite - remind in elaborates historians of arts Michael Sells and Andreas Ridlemeier. In the reports which are filed in the Art Library of the Harward University, conveyed by SRNA in fragments, they claimed that "specially organised group of Croatian soldiers, mainly from Capljina and Medjugorje, in the first storm burned the monastery while killing monks and inhabitants of the surrounding village, which is also burned down to the foundations, and all Serbs which survived were expelled." BELGRADE - The president of "Veritas", humanitarian organisation for refuges from the former Republic Srpska Krajina, Savo Strbac warned that for more and more massive emigration of Serbs from Srem-Baranja region /SBO/ are guilty Croats who do not want Serbs to live in that region. "It is not only a matter of Serbs. Official authorities, unfortunately, by the orders of international community, is signing anything what is offered to them, but simple citizens like Ante Djapic and his "ustashas" are expelling Serbs from that region in a variety of ways", said Strbac for SRNa.
