SARAJEVO - At a session in Sarajevo the B&H Presidency has adopted a B&H
foreign-political platform which is completely in accordance and it should
serve as a good foundation for acting of newly appointed Ambassadors. Ranko
Ninkovic a chief of the Cabinet of the President in the B&H Presidency from
RS Momcilo Krajisnik stated after the session that that common body had
discussions about procedures of making international contracts and joining
of B&H to the international organisations. " It has been decided that
Council of Ministers will dispatch stances about making international
agreements and access to the international organisations to the Presidency
which will, on a base of recommendations of the Council, make a decision on
contracts", said Ninkovic.
SARAJEVO - Members of the B&H Presidency received in the protocol visit 33
newly appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary B&H Ambassadors and
chiefs of the UN Mission. With a reception in Sarajevo a tendays' Programme
of preparations has begun for the newly appointed Ambassadors, Chiefs of
B&H missions, composed by the B&H Foreign Affairs Ministry. The programme
has as its goal to introduce ambassadors with foreign affairs of B&H in
order to prepare them for the future mission.
SARAJEVO - The B&H passports will be printed by the German state printing
firm and on their covers will be , in accordance with the Law on Passports,
along with a title "Bosna i Hercegovina", a name of a entity - is said in a
statement of the Ministry for Civil Affairs and Communications delivered to
SRNA. In the statement signed by the competent Minister Spasoje Albijanic
is emphasised that the passport would be of a high quality with varied
levels of protection in accordance with ICAO standards.
BANJALUKA - The RS President and President of a Banjaluka University
Dragoljub Mirjanic had talks in Banjaluka with agent of a British firm
"Philip Harris" Tom Ryan about project of equipping of school's
institutions in RS. It has been emphasised that for the project, valued at
500,000 DM, the RS Government should give one third of assets from budget
resources, the other third would be paid off by assets of the foreign
banks' credits and remain part would represent assets of donors hired by
the English firm "Philip Harris".
BANJALUKA - The General Staff of the RS Army (VRS) stated that the transfer
of duties in the General Staff would be conducted on March 16.
SREBRENICA - Representatives of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS), Serbian
Radical Party (SRS) and Coalition for the Whole and Democratic B&H failed
again for the third time to reach an agreement on scheduling a constitutive
meeting of the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly and assigning of the key
positions in the Municipal organs.
