BIJELJINA - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska /RS/ adopted at the
session in Bijeljina the proposal of the Commission for election and
appointments on forming ten working bodies of parliament, by which was
concluded the process of constituting RS Parliament. By forming work bodies
of the Assembly was finished the third item of the Agenda , and delegates
should after the break, discuss about the proposal of the president of RS
Biljana Plavsic that mandator of new government would be Milorad Dodik. The
president Plavsic proposed Mr. Dodik, since the former candidate Mladen
Ivanic was not able to secure the majority for forming new government,
which concept of the national unity was not accepted by Serbian Democratic
Party /SDS/ and Serbian Radical Party /SRS/.
SARAJEVO - During the broadcasting the session of the National Assembly of
RS occurred the interruption of TV signal in Sarajevo-Romanija region, and
as said to SRNA in the technical sector of the Serbian radio studio in Pale,
it had happened when the technicians of SFOR started repairing the
aggregate on the transmitter on Trebevic. The break lasted from 14,05 until
14,45 h.
GENEVA - The Swish press writes that UN "returned Vukovar to Croatia",
asking what will happen to Serbian population in the this region, because
the convincing answers have neither Croatian officials nor frightened Serbs.
The news "Curier" convey the dark story of Veronica Pasqieur, who visited
one evening the Serbian family in Erdut. "Each time when their dog was
barking somebody from the house would run out the house to check out what
is happening, because their neighbour, Croatian returnee have threatened
them that he will kill them if they do not give him back bricks which they
allegedly had taken away from his courtyard during the war" - she writes.
