NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

PRIJEDOR - The President of Republika Srpska (RS) Biljana Plavsic has an impression that "international community waits for parliamentary elections after which plans to include itself, with her own resources in RS economy". Mrs. Plavsic talked with leaders of the Prijedor municipality about economical problems especially about launching of production in the iron ore mine "Ljubija".

BELGRADE - The military-political commentator Radovan Radinovic considers that the idea about including the RS army in the "Train and Equip" programme should not be rejected at once and that there is no need for paranoid fear of any contact with USA, with naturally, keeping in mind the preservation of RS.

PLOCE HARBOUR - The American vessel "Condor" with about 1 300 tons of American military equipment, light arms and ammunition for FB&H army had began with unloading its cargo.

HAGUE - The pensioned general of the B&H Army Jovan Divjak stated affront UN Tribunal in Hague that municipal headquarters, to which belonged and Zejnil Delalic charged for killings and torturing of at least 15 Serbian camp inmates in the concentration camp Celebici, were in the General staff jurisdiction and receiving orders directly from Supreme Command and commander in chief of that time B&H Army.

BANJALUKA - The US Government had offered aid to Serbian Radio Television in Banjaluka in form of filling the television programme with the American programmes, movies and serials - it was stated after the meeting of the Banjaluka studio representatives with the US Government delegation.

NIS - The Association of independent craftsman and enterpreneurs in Nis will in next two years support every humanitarian actions in the town, including those which brings solution of the social and economical problems of refugees - announced the Association secretary Blagoje Stanisavljevic.
