BANJALUKA - RS prime minister, Gojko Klickovic assessed in Banjaluka that the explosion of the foundations of the Serbian Orthodox church in Brcko is a terrorist and unmoral act, which affected the most sacred thing of the Serbian nation - the Church. The RS prime minister pointed out that "this act made clear that Serbian sacred things are not regarded as sacred by others", and warned that "following terrorists' logic, Serb schools and nursery schools and other facilities in this city might be soon the next target."

SARAJEVO - The co-chairmen of the B-H Council of Ministers, Boro Bosic and Haris Silajdzic, confirmed that the major part of the extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers was devoted to the economic cooperation with Slovenia. Bosic concluded that "it is a very important segment of our discussion in which the ministers considered and defended the interests of B-H".

SARAJEVO - The member of the Provisional Electoral Commission (PEC) from RS, Slobodan Kovac, assessed in Pale that the PEC verified registrations of the political parties, coalitions and independent candidates for the up-coming parliamentarian elections in RS, scheduled for November 23. In his statement for SRNA, Kovac said that the registration was carried out by 22 previously registered parties and 11 newly-formed ones meeting all conditions for the participation at the elections.

SARAJEVO - EU commissioner Hans van den Broek announced that the international community would apply economic and political pressures against the party in b-H which defiant of the Dayton agreement. At a press conference held in "Holiday Inn" Hotel, held following his meeting with the members of the B-H Presidency and Council of Ministers, Broek stated that agreement on legislation on passports, joint currency, as well as and civil laws have not been reached yet.

BANJALUKA - Deputy SFOR spokesman for Sector South-West, British major Mike Moran, confirmed in Banjaluka that "SFOR troops carried out inspections of 88 arms storages in RS and the Federation of B-H, out of which 38 arms storage of the B-H Army, 31 belonging to the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) and 19 to VRS".

BANJALUKA - IPTF spokesman for Region West, Alun Roberts confirmed in Banjaluka that a severe incident took place in Turbe, near Travnik, when a 13-year old Croat was killed by fire arms and his brother and father wounded. Roberts briefed that IPTF members held a meeting with local police in Drvar in order to get informed of the investigation process and its results regarding the continuation of house-burnings in the areas of Drvar and Glamoc.

BIJELJINA - The president of the Executive Board of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Mirko Blagojevic, confirmed that an explosive device was thrown at the building where the SRS Bijeljina Board had its offices, on Tuesday at about 23:00 hrs.

BANJALUKA - RS president Biljana Plavsic talked in Banjaluka with deputy high representative, Jacques Klein on the opening of airport in this city, EU and USAID financial investments in RS and the up-coming parliamentarian elections. Ms. Plavsic underlined that the Banjaluka Airport would be opened by mid November for civilian traffic with Belgrade, and that later on airlines with European countries would be completed.

SARAJEVO - The president from RS in the B-H Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik, received in Pale in a protocol visit the newly appointed governor of the B- H Central Bank, Peter Nickol. After the meeting, minister for civil affairs and communications, Spasoje Albijanic stated that Nickol promised to undertake activities to find solution to the disputable issues concerning the Central Bank operations.

BANJALUKA - RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic and the president of the RS Union Cedo Volas agreed in Banjaluka postponement of the announced general strike of all employees in RS until the parliamentarian elections. the rS union and Government reached an agreement on 200 dinners lowest labour price, effective from November 1, with a tendency of increase by 1998.

BANJALUKA - RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic stated in Banjaluka that the local authority must be established as soon as possible, and that it must be expeditious and well-organised. The futile attempt of the Banjaluka City Assembly to appoint new mayor the prime minister assessed as a typical power struggle.

BIJELJINA - The chair of the Presidency of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) Aleksa Buha assessed after the meeting of the SDS Central Electoral Staff in Bijeljina that there were no divisions or crises among the SDS members. "Out of total 85 Steering Board members, only five to six of them left the Party, which is a usual praxis with all political parties", Buha stated at a press conference, noting that it is a natural tendency to move from one party to another.

SARAJEVO - Rs minister of energy and mining, Milorad Skoko, confirmed that "over-all energy situation in RS before the winter season is satisfactory, first of all thanks to readiness of the energy, transmission and distribution potentials."

BRCKO - The Serbian Orthodox Church condemns every kind of terrorism, from whichever side it came and towards whomever directed, stated the Orthodox priest in Brcko Slavko Maksimovic, while commenting the mining of the foundations of the Serbian Orthodox church in the community of Pete Kozarske Brigade.

BEOGRAD - The Belgrade's Islamolgist, Miroljub Jeftic, stated that the attack against the Serbian Orthodox church in Brcko and "Hesbolah" title left after the attack represented "continuation of destruction of the Christianity in B-H." In his statement for SRNA, Jeftic said that Islamists acted this way when they could not have behaved different but still could not give up of their faith, which anticipates non-existence of RS or any other Christian kind of life in B-H."

BANJALUKA - The British Embassy in Sarajevo announced visit of deputy British foreign minister tony Loyd to Rs and the federation of B-h and FR Yugoslavia on October, 28-31. Following his talks in Pale, Loyd is supposed to meet representatives of the RS Union and Federal Union in the British Embassy in Sarajevo.
