BANJLAUKA - President of Republika Srpska (RS) Biljana Plavsic met in
Banjaluka with the international arbitrator for Brcko area Roberts Owen.
following a half-an-hour meeting, Plavsic and Owen issued no statements.
SARAJEVO - The Main Board of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) decided
that this party take part at the parliamentarian and presidential elections,
and in this context it restructured the SDS Main Board and Presidency. The
presidency chair will be Aleksa Buha, and members Djordje Batinic from
Ljubinje, Pantelija Djurguz from Kozarska Dubice, Djojo Arsenovic from
Bijeljina, Momcilo Krajisnik from Serb Sarajevo, Ignjo Jacimovic from
Serb Brod and Miroslav Stanic from Vlasenica.
SRPSKA KOSTAJNICA- In Srpska Kostajnica 4,461 eligible voters will vote in
12 polling stations for 25 deputies in the city assembly, confirmed the
president of the Local Eelctoral Commission Biljana Majkic - Marinkovic.
About 40 per cent of voters polled by 13:00 hrs. Because of OSCE decision
that residents of the municipalities formed after 1991 - Srpska Kostajnica,
Milici and Skelani - must vote in the municipalities where these
municipalities belonged, residents of Nova Kostajnica went to local
elections on September 13 and 14 in Novi Grad Parliament.
