NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

TREBINJE - The president of the Government of Republika Srpska /RS/ Gojko Klickovic, who visited the road under construction Trebinje - Herceg Novi, stated that its finishing in the next period must be the priority of the municipal organs, but also the Government of RS. The significance of the finishing of road Trebinje - Herceg Novi Klickovic put in line directly with the building of the Upper Horizons, building in the qualitative telephone centre which will cover whole Eastern Herzegovina and activities in taking care about refugees and displaced persons. SARAJEVO - The president in the Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik received in Pale the deputy High Representative Jacques Klein. The topic of the talks was the current situation in Republika Srpska after signing the agreement on solving the crisis in RS, by which is anticipated organising the parliamentary and presidential, as well as the elections for president in Presidency of B&H from RS.

PRIJEDOR - At the founding Assembly of the Municipal Board /OO/ of SNS in Prijedor, opened by the president of this party Dragan Veselinovic, were elected the working bodies which managed the Assembly, in which work, according to the report of the Verification Commission, participated 155 affiliates of the party. The municipal board of SNS Prijedor was chosen, having 30 members, the Supervising Board of three members and Statutory Commission of three members.

Starting from the needs of the industry of mills and bakeries for the raw materials, the significant cultivable fields and realised yields of the basic agricultural cultures in the current year, it is anticipated that this autumn by wheat will be sown 2,400 hectares or 52% in the relation with the last year. By barley would be sown 350 hectares, oats 150, fodder 300 and vegetables 100 hectares, which in total amounts 3,003 of hectares.

BANJA LUKA - The director of the "Medicine electronics" Banja Luka Ratko Stamenic closed in BAnja Luka the First International Fair of the medical equipment and cosmetics "Mediko Banja Luka '97". At the fair were given rewards in the form of diplomas, one according to the assessment of the exhibitor and another according to the journalists which were present at this manifestation. The first prize was given to the firm "ICN Yugoslavia" from Belgrade. second "Zorka-farm (pharmacy)" from Sabac and third "Dalija" Banja Luka - Belgrade. According to the assessment of journalists diplomas were given to "Medical electronics" from Banja Luka, "Sko-human" from Nis and the special production "Prvi partizan" from Uzice.

GACKO - By the completion of the roads Srbinje - Ustipraca and Trebinje - Herceg-Novi, in Gacko will be made first greater steps in the development of Catering and Tourism in the region of this municipality. Milorad Okiljevic, the director of the Basic state enterprise for catering and tourism "Gacko" reminds that, despite the difficult situation for tourism in whole Republika Srpska, this enterprise successfully renown the object - Motel "Kosuta" - investing 500 thousand of dinars from own funds.
