SARAJEVO - The RS Government called on the para-police members under command of RS president Biljana Plavsic, to leave the group in order to divert new incidents. In a communique it said that the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs informed SFOR commander, general Eric Shinseki, that "it will be forced to engage police forces, including anti-terrorist brigade, which will use all means and measures to oust an illegal armed group from the Public Security Centre (CJB) in Banjaluka and return the building to its legal users".

SARAJEVO - The RS minister of interior, Dragan Kijac decided to from a Commission with the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs, entitled to "report on relevant indicators in connection to current developments in Banjaluka, within seven days, of which the RS state leadership and public will be duly informed". "The Ministry will under no price allow anybody to take on mandate and seize the offices of the Centre or proceeds with staff changes contrary to Law on procedure", which as he said might have irredeemable consequences.

BANJALUKA - The chief of the Banjaluka CJB, Stojan Davidovic, stated for SRNA that "regular police shift is on its working places in the CJB building today, whle IPTF members are still in the building, preventing other employees to enter the building, because of which the work with citizens from the Banjaluka municipality is blocked."

BANJALUKA - The SFOR Sector South-West commander, British general Agnus Remsay, confirmed that SFOR members last night disarmed and escorted to their base about 50 policemen from the RS president Biljana Plavsic's guard, who entered and seized the CJB building in Banjaluka on Sunday early morning. "Major Dragan Lukac took actions which were not consistent with our instructions about special police forces, so SFOR will undertake appropriate measures. I discussed this issue with my commanders, but I am not in position to predict the outcome", Ramsay stated.

BANJALUKA - A group of former officers of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs, who forcibly took the CJB building in Banjaluka yesterday morning, violated the Dayton agreement provisions, stated SFOR spokesman, colonel Mike Wright. At a press conference in Banjaluka Wright specified that Lukac's group left the CJB building and "returned to its base in a factory building near the village of Trn, 10 kms N of Banjaluka".

SARAJEVO - The president of the RS National Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, opened new facilities of the Kasindo Hospital in Serb Sarajevo. While prising the efforts of the hospital staff, president Kalinic said this achievement represented a great contribution to the RS health system reform. RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic joined in congratulations.

BANJALUKA - The president of the Main Board of the Serbian Democratic Party for Serbian Lands (SDS SZ), Borivoje Sendic, expressed his belief that the political crisis in RS would be ended in the next days, and he called on both state leaders and Serbian people to calm down tensions. While being guest at the Serb TV, he underlined that "the SDS will ask for a halt in further raising of tensions and for respect of RS legislation. "

SARAJEVO - Regarding a sudden death of one of initial members of the Serbian national movement, Dragan Veselinovic [48], the RS Government expressed its sympathies to Veselinovic's family.

ZVORNIK - There are still 62 refugees from Serb Sarajevo living in the collective centres in the Zvornik municipality - 27 i n Karakaj and 35 in Kiseljak - reports the Zvornik Office of the RS Ministry for Refugees and Displaced Persons.

STOLAC - During the celebration of the Catholic holiday St. Roko in Stolac, about hundred Muslims provoked an incident by yelling "Fascists" and threatening that Stolac would soon become the Muslim city, reported the Croatian Radio Herzeg-Bosnia. While explaining that all was finished with only two broken windows on a buss in which the Muslims arrived to Stolac, the Radio said that Muslims from Sanjak were among those who arrived, and that the incident was a deliberate provocation before the up- coming municipal elections.

SARAJEVO - The representative office of the Croatian chamber of Commerce in Sarajevo were cut off their phone and fax links without prior warning, by which activities of the Office are hindered, reports Croatian Radio.
