"The RS Union demands that a portion of financial aid is earmarked to RS Public Pension Fund to the level sufficient to satisfy the residents' essential needs", said Volas in his letter to EU, European Unions Conference and the US Union. BRCKO - The Electoral Appellation Commission punished the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) with deleting the three first candidates off the candidates lists for the local elections - the Brcko Municipal Government president, Radoslav Bogicevic, SDS Brcko Branch president Mladen Bosic, and the Brcko War Veterans Organisation president, Nenad Kojic - learns SRNA in the Electoral Appellation Commission in Brcko. The reason for this move is said to be the manipulation in the voters registration process which represents the violation of the Dayton Agreement Annex 3 Article 1.1. BRCKO - The Municipal Board of the Association of Refugees and Displaced Persons in Brcko, gave its full support to the SDS, RS National Assembly, Government, VRS General Staff and the president in the B-H Presidency from RS, Momcilo Krajisnik, regarding the present political situation in the country. BRCKO - Last night's hand bomb explosion in a cafe 30 meters away from the Brcko Supervisor Office, has no political background, its was confirmed to SRNA in the Public Security Centre. According to first findings, the explosion happened in connection with the cafe owner's clashes. BRCKO - A graffiti with the threatening massage on the Arabic language that the 108th Muslim Brigade is soon to come, accompanied with Islamic symbols and signature "Kemal", appeared this morning on a Serb house in Brcko. Muslim workers who repair houses for Muslim returnees to Brcko promised to repaint the walls of the house. ZVORNIK - Zvornik mayor, Jovan Mitrovic, stated that aside of numerous problems, the security situation in Zvornik municipality was satisfactory. He underlined that the hunt for prominent Serbs had negative impact on the security situation in the Municipality, and said that "despite the warnings by the RS leaders, the people see all representatives of the multinational forces as enemies". BANJALUKA - The SFOR mandate is not changed in respect to arrests of war crimes suspects, but the "sealed indictments" keep arriving from the Hague Tribunal, says SFOR spokesman colonel Mike Right, at Banjaluka's press conference, adding that the stabilisation forces are due to arrest the indictees whom they encounter. HAMBURG - Reviewing the decision of the US Senate to stop operations against the war crimes indictees and cease actions regarding the exclusion of the RS president Biljana Plavsic from the SDS, the German "Welt" concludes that "the Serbian leader Radovan Karadzic could end the conflict with the West as a winner". In its editorial, the "Frankfurther Rhaundschau" estimates "Plavsic's readiness to go for a life or death battle, and her threat to have Radovan Karadzic arrested can easily divide RS into a 'Bosnian-Serb canton' within the integral B-H and Eastern republic as a 'emergency corridor' towards Yugoslavia". The "Spiegel" concludes that the conditions for a new "hunting season" became suddenly favourable since the West succeeded to place Plavsic as a counterbalance to Radovan Karadzic and his followers". AMSTERDAM - The only thing the international community wants to create in the former Yugoslavia is the idea of unitary B-H, by way of weakening the entities' institutions, making them administrative regions. All efforts and support to various agencies, media and RS representatives are for made that purpose, say sources close to the representatives of the Helsinki Civic Association in the Hague. TILBURG - Since WWII, Vatican has hidden 200 million Swish franc, which the Croat Ustache, supported by the Nazi Germany, seized from the Serbs and Jews, report the Dutch state TV relaying on a recently discovered document. The money is a part of total 360 million Swiss franc, 150 million of which the allies confiscated at the Austrian-Swiss border. MOSTAR - The president of the Federation of B-H, Vladimir Soljic, was elected president of the Main Board of the Croatian Community of Herzeg- Bosnia (HZHB), seen by Muslim officials and some international representatives as para-state creation.
