As stated in the announcement from the Cabinet of the president of National Assembly, the invitation is in accordance with the provisions of the Article 214. of the Rules of Procedure of Assembly sent also to the president of the Republika Srpska Biljana Plavsic.BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic again rejected the comments of the Main Board of the Serbian Democratic Party related to her activities during the conference in Sintra, arbitrage in the region of Brcko, return in the zone of separation and innner state talks about overcoming the political crisis. In the announcement from the Cabinet of president Plavsic, which is, as stated, motivated by the intention to acquaint the public with "the facts which could contribute to the impartial assessment of the current situation", remind on the assertion that the president Plavsic signed the conclusions of the conference of the Steering Board for implementation of the Dayton Agreement, which was held in Sintra. Pursuant to the way of work of the conference in Sintra, as earlier similar meetings, nobody of participants from RS or Federation B&H didn't sign, nor was obliged to sign mentioned conclusions, but they are adopted in the frame of the work of Conference, it is claimed in the announcement and reminded that in Sintra besides the president Plavsic were also the members of the Presidency of B&H Momcilo Krajisnik, Kresimir Zubak and Alija Izetbegovic. SARAJEVO - The president of RS Bilajna Plavsic stated that she has no intention to withdraw from the function of the president until the presidential elections in 1998. In the short TV addressing to the people, the president Plavsic stressed that she will stay on the post of the chief of state until, as she said, she has the confidence of the people. BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic stated in Banja Luka that the doors of the Donors Conference in Brussels are opened for RS and that this is the good news for the Serbian people. After the meeting with the U. S Ambassador to UN Bill Richardson at which was talked about the current political situation in RS, implementation of the Dayton Agreement and Donors Conference in Brussels, Ms. Plavsic sad that Mr. Richardson is, as well as other collocutors, interested for solving the tension in RS in the best way. During the addressing the reporters, Richardson said that the "impending conference in Brussels will help RS to get opportunity to present its programme for economical aid". BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic talked in Banja Luka with the Special reporter for human rights Elizabeth Rehn about the situation on human rights, issue of opened cities, coming Donors conference and political situation in RS. "During the today's meeting we agreed that allocating the financial resources to RS may help very much in mitigating the heavy economic situation", stressed the president of Republika Srpska after the meeting and added that "Mrs. Rehn has full understanding for our problems". According to Mrs. Rehn, one of the ways to come to the solution of current problems in RS is "respecting the legal institutions". SARAJEVO - The Ministry of Health and Social Security of RS denied claims of one part of media and some politicians from RS that Radovan Karadzic, as the physician and the president of the state, during war didn't visit any hospital. "According to the incomplete data, and learned facts which has this ministry, during the war Karadzic visited many times health institutions and hospitals where were cured ill and wounded members of RS Army" - is said in the announcement. SARAJEVO - The co-presiding in the Council of Ministers of B&H Boro Bosic received in Pale in the protocolar visit the Ambassador of Malaysia to Sarajevo Rashtam Mahdi, who gave him the official invitation to visit this country. "At the Council of Ministers we assessed that this visit would be of the extraordinary significance, because it would enable us for establishing the relations with Islamic countries, which were broken during the war years", said Bosic and added that "in that context would be good to realise this visit". BANJA LUKA - The association of the families of killed and detained fighters and civilians informed the UN Special envoy for human rights Elizabeth Rehn that 1 900 persons from RS are considered as missing, as well as the remains of 115 soldiers of the Serbian Army /VRS/ is impossible to identify. During the meeting in Banja Luka, the Association indicated to Mrs. Rehn the problem of captured persons from RS, to which the prison authorities forbid photographing which makes difficult the process of finding them, and on the difficulties with the parallel identification of victims of war on the mountain Ozren and Srebrenica. BELGRADE - The public service enterprises from Derventa, Vukosavlje and Petrovo in RS are taking from the factory "Tatra" in Czech Republic three water cisterns got as the aid from the programme of the people of Japan in reconstruction of RS under the name "Grass Roots". Total value of the donation amounts 300 000 $US, and the aid is realised in the cooperation with the Ministry for Refugees and displaced Persons of RS and Japan enterprise Iwatani. BELGRADE - In Bijeljina will tomorrow from the Chemicalindustry enterprise "Azotara" from Pancevo come the first convoy with artificial fertilizer, as the aid of the Japanese Government for RS. The action would last until the august 31, and the aid of the Japanese Government of 5 780 tones in value of 1,3 millions of $US is not conditioned by any political concessions. KRAGUJEVAC - It is the time for peace and turning towards the future, is the expression of the majority of the citizens of Kragujevac in the poll organised by SRNA about the current situation in RS and the decision that Biljana Plavsic will be expelled from the Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/. The politic analyst Snezana Todorovic deems that SDS acted correctly because "the behaviour of Biljana Plavsic last days is really unbearable, especially regarding the security situation in RS, Prijedor's killing and arresting Milan Kovacevic".
