SARAJEVO - The Republika Srpska (RS) Government held a session in Lukavica
and adopted: Draft Law on Flats to be sent to the RS National Assmelby for
further adoption; Decree regulating the free and unlimited exchange of
goods and services between RS and Yugoslavia; and Proposal for the
reorganisation of the RS secondary school system.
SARAJEVO - The Council of Ministers of RS and Federation of B-H discussed
the opening of border crossings towards the Republic of Croatia, since the
regime of movement of people, goods and capital had been previous settled.
"We ordered the B-H Foreign Ministry to contact the relevant bodies of
Republic of Croatia so as to implement the agreements as soon as possible",
stated the co-chair of the Council of Ministers, Boro Bosic. The second
part of the session concerned a meeting between the Council of Ministers
and representatives of the London Club on the B-H external debt.
SARAJEVO - The Club of Representatives of the Serbian Democratic Party in
the B-H Parliamentarian Assembly reviewed the quick start package in
preparation for the Donor's Conference convened for June 24 and 25 in
Brussels. The head of the SDS Group of Deputies, Slobodan Bijelic, stated
after the session held in Pale that Serb deputies praise the package,
especially in respect to the Law on the Central Bank.
MOSTAR - The Croatian Democratic Party for B-H accused the Muslim
authorities in Sarajevo of implementing a policy of ethnic cleansing of the
Croats in this city. That is why this HDZ branch protested with UNHCR
Office in Sarajevo, reminding it of May 22 statement of a UNHCR
representative that Sarajevo is an open city for all of its citizen, and
explained that 200,000 Croat Sarajevans were not allowed to return home
because of various administrative and other obstacles.
