BELGRADE - The executor of the presidential duty of Republi ka Srpska (RS), Dr. Biljana Plavsic, stated that the latest pressures upon the RS were unexpected, because the Serb side has had a very good cooperation with the international community in the implementation of the Dayton agreement. "The RS leadership had the position that the Serbian people should remove all difficulties as well as the initiative and cooperativeness of Dr. Karadzic who has once more showed that his only interest are the RS and its people", said Prof. Plavsic.

SARAJEVO - The minister of judiciary in the RS government, Marko Arsovic, stated that the Commission for War Crimes submit ted criminal charges to The Hague Tribunal against the Bosnian Muslim leader, Alija Izetbegovic and a group of his associates. The public will be acquainted with the content of the charges the moment he is indicted by the Tribunal. "Izetbegovic and his supporters are charged with war crimes that are in the autorisa tion of the Hague Tribunal, and these are, according to the Statute, violations of the Geneva conventions, violations of the war standards and crimes against the humanity" he stressed.

BANJALUKA - The chairman of the Consultative Council of political parties, Kenneth Scot, announced in Banjaluka the possibility that the voter registration in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SRJ) and Croatia be extended because of objective and technical difficulties.

BELGRADE - At a tribune in Mali Zvornik, the president of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Vojislav Seselj condemned the CroatMuslim Federation vice-president, Ejup Ganic's stay in Belgrade. "Ganic as an ideologist and organiser of crimes upon the Serbs, had to be arrested in Belgrade and brought to the court of justice", is the position of the SRS followers.

BELGRADE - The vicepresident of the Croat-Muslim Federa- tion, Ejup Ganic stated in an interview with journalists that he is not completely satisfied with the results of his two day long visit to Belgrade, during which he led an economypolitical dele- gation of the Federation. Ganic explained that three documents on the cancellation of required visa on both sides, the opening of all kinds of traffic (highways, railroads, and airlines), and the opening of agencies of the Economic Councils of Federation and FR Yugoslavia in Belgrade and Sarajevo, were signed.

BANJALUKA - The first Ombudsperson's Office for Human Rights was opened in Banjaluka as an independent institution established in accordance with the Annex 6 of the Dayton Agreement. At a press conference held on this occasion, the mandate of the Com mission for Human Rights which amounts on alleged or concrete violations of human rights established by the Convention on protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as other kinds of discrimination in the former B-H were dealt with.

MOSTAR - The president of the Democratic National Union, Fikret Abdic assessed that Muslims from all over the world have not made quite good assessment what consequences will have the war in the former B-H, for which the Presidency of that time should have to bear the most responsibility. Abdic concluded that "the strings have snapped" among the Muslims in the former B-H and their unity was broken up by the Sarajevo military junta.

SARAJEVO - If the hopeless situation in Mostar, divided be tween Croats and Muslims, continues than the withdrawal of EU from Mostar could be just a matter of an hour, warned the High Representative, Carl Bildt in Sarajevo, appealing upon Zagreb to find a resolution. "The situation in Mostar is very concerning. If a resolution is not found, there is a possibility that EU could within the next hours withdrew from the city", said Bildt.

BELGRADE - Seven movements of nongovernment associations from the Serbian District of Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and West ern Srem, is expected to organise a protest on 28th July in Vukovar against the international community's policy towards the Serbian people in the area. According to the president of the Vukovar Renewal Movement, a protest will take place in front of the Vukovar Dunav Hotel.
