Minister Buha stated that the arbitrage cannot be carried out without a subject, which is not defined yet, for the Serb and CroatMuslim sides could not have reached an agreement on the matter yet. "If I see that we are facing an inevitable collapse of the peace process, due to some more serious or deliberate nonobservance of the agreement, we will have that strong instrument - sanctions - at our disposal" WASHINGTON - The U.S. State Department spokesman Nicholas Burns stated that the U.S.A. will not support the Hague Tribunal demands for reimposition of the sanctions against RS due its rejection to deliver president Radovan Karadzic and general Ratko Mladic. "It is too early for such as decision, for this is not a way to achieve that we want to achieve", explained Burns. SARAJEVO - The UN expressed their concern about lawlessness in the Sarajevo suburbs which the Serbs handed over to the Croat Muslim administration three months ago in compliance to the Daytona agreement. According to IPTF, since parts of Serb Saraje vo came under the authority of the MuslimCroat Federation, tens of Serbs have been beaten, mistreated and expelled on a daily basis. ZAGREB - The IFOR commander admiral Leighton Smith denied news from Pentagon that he offered his resignation. "I did not resign. I am at disposal of the U.S. president. The news about my future will be announced in Washington or Brussels, and it will be carried out by a competent person in an adequate form", stated admiral Smith after his meeting with Croatian president Franjo Tudjman.
