SARAJEVO - The meeting of the signatories of Dayton Agree ment and
representatives of the Contact Group, scheduled for the beginning of
July at Geneva, according to the assessment of the vicepresident of
Republika Srpska /RS/ Nikola Koljevic, was convened so the issues of
Mostar's elections would be considered. Talking about the preparations
for the elections in the former Bosnia, Koljevic said that in RS main
preparations were made. The Provisional Electoral Commission was
provided with the electoral lists from all electoral commissions on its
territory, in total 54, including the municipalities Petrovac, Krupa na
Uni and Drvar, in which Serbs want to organise their municipalitis.
PRIJEDOR - At the accesses to Prijedor two incidents oc curred, when
large groups of Moslems, escorted by IFOR and IPTF, without previous
announcement and agreement with Serbian authori ties tried to enter
this town. Selforganised citizens of Prije- dor in both cases thwarted
these attempts of incursions of Mos lems and forced them to go back.
ROGATICA - The minister of Internal Affairs of RS Dragan Kijac, with his
associates, visited Police Station of Sarajevo, which seat is now in
Rogatica. At the meeting of the expert group, the head of Police Station
Sreto Pekic informed the minis ter Kijac about activities in organising
this station after leaving the Serbian Sarajevo.
CELINAC - The Municipal Board of the Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ of
Celinac send from its electoral assembly a tele gram to the RS
president Radovan Karadzic, giving him "full support in his struggle for
preserving Srpska and Serbian nation al interests defended in the
fatherland's war".
