[01] Albania, ally of U.S. and NATO in challenges of the coming millennium - MetaTIRANE, Nov.7 (ata) - Albanian Prime Minister Ilir Meta guaranteed on Saturday U.S. President Bill Clinton in a message of greeting that Albania will remain a staunch ally of the U.S. and NATO in the challenges of the coming millennium, said to ATA the press department close to the prime minister's office.Meta held on Saturday a meeting with the U.S. Ambassador in Tirana, Joseph Limprecht, and handed over to him a message of thanks for the U.S. President Bill Clinton. In this message, Albanian Prime Minister expresses his thanks to U.S. President on occasion of his congratulations for Meta's election to the post of the Prime Minister. "My government and I consider this message a great support and encouragement on our road of reforms and democracy in Albania," said meta. Through this message, PM Meta informed President Clinton that the program of his government, adopted in the Parliament, is based on the priority of the strategic partnership of Albania with the U.S. "You, President Clinton, have become for us, Albanians, a symbol of freedom, especially during the greatest drama that the Albanian people passed with the crisis of Kosova. Allow me to confirm to You that Albania will remain a strong ally of the U.S. and NATO in the challenges of the coming millennium," writes Albanian Premier in his message of U.S. President Clinton. /xh/ D'Arc Avenue 23, Tirana, Albania E-Mail: Albanian Telegraphic Agency[02] Contemporary German-English photography in a joint exhibitionTIRANE, Nov. 7 (ata) - By K Shehu: The International Fair Klik Ekspo Klik which will open in Tirana on Nov. 25, 1999 will also have an exhibition of the contemporary German-English photography.The exhibition will be displayed in the International Cultural Centre in Tirana and will continue until Nov. 30, 1999. Eleven German artists will present their works which will then be selected by the curator Matias Hayder, while the British artists, whose number is not yet determined, will be selected by the renowned curator in the field of photography, Jan Jeffrey. The works of German and British artists will be reportedly included also in a catalogue, whose publication will be made possible by the organisers of the Fairs.
