NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - The top party officials of the Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ and Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ harmonised their stances in Pale yesterday and confirmed the intention to come out together on the next September's elections. The president in the Presidency of B&H from Republika Srpska /RS/ and vice-president of SDS Momcilo Krajisnik stated for SRNA that at the meeting with the president of SRS Vojislav Seselj and president of Executive board of SRS RS Mirko Blagojevic "the stances were rather christalised". Krajisnik could not confirm whether until June 12, when is the ultimate term for applications of coalitions, in block with SDS and SRS enter some other party, stressing that "the negotiations with parties are underway".

SREBRENICA - The chief of the OSCE mission for B&H RObert Berry forwarded yesterday the decision in written form by which are finally verified the mandates for 20 Serbian and 25 Moslem delegates for the new convocation of municipal assembly of Srebrenica, report the Serbian radio TV. By that decision were returned the mandates for three delegates of SDS and two of SRS, which the provisional electoral commission has punished with taking off the delegate list because of alleged noncooperativeness.

UZICE - On Kosmet is being lead one kind of war in which the police is trying to fight the self-styled. "Liberation army of Kosovo", which already for longer period is controlling several municipalities in Kosmet, and in fights numerous Serbian policemen were killed or wounded and many Serbs kidnapped - stated the president of Serbian Resistance Movement from Kosmet Momcilo Trajkovic. "I insist already for a long time at the international community and Serbian public, that near Decani exist the improvised detention camp for Serbs, in which already one month and a half Albanian terrorists keep fifteen Serbian civilians" - stressed Trajkovic.

DERVENTA - Although the Association of weak sight and blind persons of RS and Federation B&H /FB&H/ formed the unique association, the members from RS were deprived the right to use the computer centre, which recently was donated by the similar organisation from Sweden - stated for SRNA the president of the Association of blind of RS Branko Suzic. According to him, the international humanitarian organisations on account of the association of blind are every day paying financial resources in the for of donations, but that money the members from RS cannot use.

BERLIN - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic, who has arrived to Germany invited by the Union of Serbian Associations, will address the participants of the Fifth Serbian Assembly in Stutgart. According to anticipated protocol, Mrs. Plavsic will talk with the business men of Serbian Diaspora. Mrs. Plavsic had recently meetings with representatives of Serbian Diaspora in Canada and U.S.A.

SARAJEVO - The Constitutional Court of B&H has debated the demand of presiding of Presidency of B&H Alija Izetbegovic about harmonising the entity constitutions with the Constitution of B&H, in the sense of the constitutiveness of the three nations on the whole area of B&H and announce3d that the discussion will be continued most probably in September - learns SRNA. "I cannot come out with details, but the session will be continued after the certain time period, when we decide which persons will be called at the discussion" - stated the president of the Constitutional Court of B&H Mirko Zovko. "Most probably that will not be before the ninth month. The problem is not ours, it is the problem of the organisation of Constitutional court, because we have three foreigners and we must adapt to their obligations." = explained Zovko. At the session of the Constitutional Court was discussed about the initiative of the co-presiding in the Council of Ministers Haris Silajdzic and State Legal Office of B&H on the occasion of the decision of the Home of peoples for human rights about the disputable issue of ownership of military apartments. According to Zovko, the Constitutional Court of B&H has rejected this proposal, not stating the reasons.

LAKTASI - Who do not think on young generations do not think on the future of the state, therefore the RS Government pays a particular attention to their education- said in Laktasi the RS premier Milorad Dodik at the solemn opening of the Children's nursery school "The princess Katarina Karadjordjevic". The reconstruction of the object cost 137,000 DEM, out of which USAID has provided the resources amounting 89,000, and British organisation DFID 48,000 DEM. "Out of total 35 programmes which were offered to USAID this is the first realised one, and in Laktasi would be realised another five similar projects - stated the deputy director of the mission USAID for B&H Anny Carst.

BANJA LUKA - The work version of the new Draft law on associations and foundations will be publicly presented on Monday, June 8, and after setting into one month public discussion, in order to obtain the opinion of interested parties in RS and FB&H - was announced from the Office of the High civilian Representative /OHR/. In the announcement was stressed that from June 8 will commence the numerous other activities by which is wished to raise the awareness of the role of local non-governmental organisations.

BRCKO - The association of families of killed and missing persons, Association of war veterans disabled persons and Municipal association of refugees and displaced persons sent a vigorous protest and expressed the bitterness because of tomorrow's auto -rally Brcko- Banaovici. "This event we deem as betrayal act of 200 participants from our city, who applied for participation on the shame-track, in the time when the graves are being excavated and is being searched for the corpses of atrociously killed Serbian sons" - is stated in the protest of local associations sent to the mayor Borko Reljic and supervisor for Brcko Robert Farrand.

PODGORICA - The commissioner for refugees and displaced persons in Montenegro Djordje Scepanovic informed the journalists that 14,000 refugees from B&H is enfranchised to vote at the general elections in RS and FB&H. According to him, in order to realise this right the displaced persons must previously be registered in Montenegro and put data into the forms, which will be checked out in Sarajevo.

DOBOJ - In the region of Doboj municipality out of 43,000 voters, that have been registered for the last elections, the voting cards until now have taken 8,827 persons, or one fifth - stated for SRNA the president of the Local Electoral Commission /LEC/ Vlado BLagojevic. He announced that total of 214 persons have performed the changing of data in the relation to last year and concluded that small turnout which have acquainted a voting right this year - until now only 71.

SREBRENICA - The president of the Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ Vojislav Seselj stressed in Srebrenica that radicals had never entered into the executive government with Bosniaks and they will not do that in Srebrenica. Seselj stressed in the programming of the local radio-television that SRS will independently come out on the next parliamentary elections in RS. He added that the party is ready for negotiations with other Serbian patriotic parties in proposing the joint candidates for the president of RS and president from RS in Presidency of B&H.

PRISTINA - The policeman Darko Ivaz, whom the Albanian terrorists have hardly wounded in Kosovska Mitrovica a month ago, has died at the Military- medicine Academy in Belgrade - reports the SRNA correspondent from Pristina. The funeral of died Ivaz will be performed tomorrow at 14,00 h in Kosovska Mitrovica.

PRISTINA - The German Government has already allocated 1,7 millions of DEM for Albanian refugees from Kosmet - confirmed in Pristina the political director of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs Wolfgang Ishinger after the talks with the president of Democratic Union of Kosovo Ibrahim Rugova. Ishinger briefly said in the statement for reporters that the situation on Kosovo is "unbearable and catastrophic", but he did not stated nothing more precise about the essence of todays talks.

NEW YORK - The Yugoslavian Ambassador to UN in New York Vladislav Jovanovic condemned the misuse of children in political purposes by Albanian political leaders at Kosmet, who organised last Monday the protests of children for independence of this Serbian province. At the press conference at the seat of UN he reminded that the organisers of such protests in Pristina are violating many international conventions, as well as the UN Declaration on children rights.

BRIONI - The states members of Central European initiative /CEI/ have sharply condemned, as stated, "the escalation of violence, ethnic cleansing and any kind of terrorism in Kosmet" - report the agencies. In the special announcement the participants of the Annual Conference CEI on Brioni demanded urgent commencement of constructive dialogue at Kosmet.

NEW YORK - U.S.A. are ready to impose new sanctions to Serbia in order, as claims "New York Times", punish the president of FR Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic because of new clashes at Kosmet. The news cites the unnamed U.S. official who said that the administration is considering imposing of the new sanctions, but that formal decision will not be brought before the meeting in the White House on Monday.
