NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BIJELJINA - The president in Presidency of B&H from Republika Srpka RS Momcilo Krajisnik stated last night in Bijeljina that the main objective of some world's powerful persons the revision of the Dayton Agreement and unification of B&H, for what they are enabled due to the temporary split in the Serbian crops in RS. "Their plan for implementing scheduled aim is based on destroying MUP, Army of RS, Serbian Radio TV /SRT/, and after that weakening the Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ and other national parties" - stressed Krajisnik at the meeting with the members of the Bijeljina Municipal Board of SDS. According to him, the current government of competence of RS is transmitting to the level of B&H and in that way on the small door introducing unitary B&H.

VIENNA - The RS premier Milorad Dodik and the chief of Office of the Party of Independent Social Democrats of RS Stanislav Cadjo and the leaders of social democrat parties from FB&H /FB&H/ talked last night in Vienna with the representatives of European social democratic parties about the ways of cooperation on the next September's elections. Since the meeting was behind the closed doors, SRNA unofficially learns that the representatives of social democratic parties from RS and FB&H after more hours of talks reached the agreement about the mutual nonattacking during the pre- electoral campaign.

NEVESINJE - The minister for refugees and displaced persons of RS Miladin Dragicevic has promised that RS Government will provide the building material for development of 150 housing units for accommodation of the refugees in the Nevesinje settlement Brezine. While visiting Nevesinje with his associates, where he met with the representatives of the municipal authorities, Dragicevic also announced the beginning of constructing the new phase in the refugees settlement Gvozd. In which the first 20 apartments will be settled soon.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Syndicate Union of RS Cedo Volas is in the visit to Dieseldorf, where from June 8 until 12 he will participate at the Congress of the Syndicate Unions of Germany, one of the greatest organisations of this type in the world. The invitation to Volas was sent by the president of German syndicate Diter Schulte, who talked with him at the beginning of the year in Serbian Sarajevo. As was announced Volas will talk at the congress about the activities of the Syndicate Association of RS and current economic-social problems of Serbian workers and pensioners.

VIENNA - The international administrator for SRT Dragan Gasic announced in an interview for Austrian News Agency APA the certain changes in the work of that institution, with the intention to transform the former state television into the public channel of the Western format. "SRT must accept the Western standards when it is a matter of credibility and impartiality of published information and must be opened for all citizens, groups, religions and nations" - stressed Gasic and announced even few language reforms on SRT. RS will not be mentioned as independent state. "Bosnia, which was created by the Dayton Agreement will not be disputable" - said Gasic.

BELGRADE - The Serbian Orthodox Church, the World Assembly of Serbs, Democratic Movement and Serbian Resistance Movement from Kosovo and Metohija have scheduled the extraordinary Churchpeople's assembly for June 11 and 12 in the Belgrade's centre Sava. The occasion for the Assembly, as stressed organisers, is increased terror of Albanians Moslems over the Orthodox aborigines on Kosovo and Metohija, which is approaching to the dangerous point of escalation in the guerrilla rebellion.

VIENNA - The minister of the Foreign Affairs of Austria Wolfgang Schiesel, who is coming in the first official visit to Belgrade, announced that he will propose to the Yugoslavian politicians the return of FR Yugoslavia /FRY/ into OSCE if they allow forming the monitoring mission on Kosovo and Metohija. Schiesel reminded, in the yesterday's interview to the Vienna's "Presse" that he is making his efforts for the international mediation on Kosovo, stressing that European "intervention" must be conducted exclusively in cooperation with U.S.A.

VIENNA - The conflict on Kosovo and MEtohija is exclusively internal matter of FRY - stressed the Austrian counsellor Victor Klima yesterday in Vienna. After the talks with the premier of Ireland Berty Ahorn, he pointed out that there do not exist the4 mandate for international intervention in that part of Balkans. "If it comes that mandate to be established, Austria will become active too" - said Klima.

SARAJEVO - OSCE gave the deadline to the new party of Bosnian Croats, which forming has announced Kresimir Zubak, the member of the B&H Presidency, until the July 1, for submitting the list of candidates for general elections on September 12, 13, although the deadline for submitting the candidature was expired. The spokesman of the international representative for B&H Simon Haselock thinks that "it is still to estimate" the influence of the Zubak's initiative on the political scene of B&H.

BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ BIljana Plavsic departed to FR Germany where, at the invitation of the Association of Serbian clubs in Stutgart, and she will talk to the business men of Serbian Diaspora. According to the anticipated protocol, president Plavsic will tonight in stutgart talk with the businessmen, and the central event will be her tomorrow's addressing to the participants of the Fifth Serbian Assembly scheduled for 17,00 h. Before that, Plavsic will from 15,00 h talk with the representatives of the Assembly of Serbian associations and clubs in Germany.

BANJA LUKA - The RS premier Milorad Dodik and the German delegation, lead by the state secretary of Bundestag and delegate in the Parliament Peter Kurt Wirtzbach, signed in Banja Luka the agreement about establishing the stock company, Centre for economic and regional cooperation and realisation projects of supplying RS with the earth and liquid gas. The RS premier and German delegation initiated the forming of the association of Serbian German friendship which, as assessed, would contribute to better cooperation and realisation of the projects in RS and eliminate disputes about the mutual understanding and communications between two countries.

SARAJEVO - The applications for registration of voters abroad for elections in B&H will be accepted until June 13 along with eventual prolonging the deadline until June 20 - stated in Pale the minister -counsellor and chief of the administration for analytics, planning and information in the Ministry of foreign affairs of B&H Gordan Milinic. "The applications are being submitted on the forms which could be obtained in all diplomatic consular agencies in the world and associations of citizens abroad, about what the Serbian clubs and associations were already informed by our communication" - said Milinic at the press conference and added: "all voters who were registered last year will get at the home addresses the applications of the Centre for voting in Vienna, fill them and return them to the Centre, after what OSCE will consider the arrived applications and about them bring the positive or negative solutions".

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Local electoral commission in Banja Luka Danica Bozic sent the public invitation to all voters, who did not do that until now, to take over and check out the data in their registering card, they risk to be deprived with their voting right at the next general elections.

BRCKO - The supervisor for Brcko Robert Farrand confirmed in the statement for SRNA that there was not and there will not be forcible expelling Serbian refugees from Moslem houses, reminding that, according to the Procedure on return, the municipal authorities are obliged to find alternative accommodation in disputable cases. "Relax, Serbs" - said Farrand at the regular press conference of international organisations in Brcko.

BRCKO - The supervisor for Brcko Robert Farrand stated that sacking 35 Serbian employees from the municipal administration organs is not the act of violating human rights, because nobody of sacked employees will stay without compensation until finding another job. In the statement for SRNA he confirmed that first 35 Moslem and Croatian workers started to work in anticipated deadline from June 1, as well as that RS Government will take care about 35 Serbian workers, who according to the finished but not published systematisation must leave their posts.

BANJA LUKA - The spokesman of IPTF for regions of Banja Luka and Bihac Alun ROberts announced at the press conference that until the end of May in RS was issued 172.700 new registering plates and traffic licenses, and in Federation B&H 197.000. Roberts warned that in Cantons 2,7, 8 and 10 were issued driving licenses only in Latin alphabet, which are void and because of that the drivers were returned from the international borders of B&H.

BRCKO - The spokesman of IPTF in Brcko Katy Laden praised the work and engagement of the Border police of RS on supervision and implementing the ban on crossing the border by the vehicles without joint registering plates. According to her words, UN are content with the control of border police on three border crossings - at the Sava river bridge towards Croatia and Raca and Pavlovica bridges towards FRY.

SARAJEVO - Croatian drivers and authorities still do not respect the order of the High International representative for B&H Carlos Westendorp about obligatory use of unique traffic licenses and registering plates on the vehicles in RS and FB&H - report the media in FB&H. At the border crossings Doljani near Metkovic, Kamensko near Tomislavgrad, and Orasje and Neum, which are under Croatian control, are entering into Republic Croatia with signs of allegedly repealed Croatian Republic Herceg Bosnaclaim media.

VUKOVAR - While at the New Cemetery in Vukovar already one month the exhumation of Croats is underway, the destiny of Serbian war victims from 1991 until 1995 is still unclarified. Until Now already 600 Croatian bodies was exhumed, who were killed during the war activities in Vukovar, and 300 of them was identified. Besides that, the exhumation is performed in the city, and the authorities are trying to represent the victims as the victims of "Serbian atrocities".

PRISTINA - The state delegation for negotiations with the leaders of Albanian political parties in composition Ratko Markovic, Nikola Sainovic, Ivan Sedlak, Leposava Milicevic and Jorgovanka Tabakovic, arrived at 10,30 h in Pristina. According to the yesterday's and this morning statements of the leaders of Albanian parties, the Albanian delegation will not appear at talks.

BELGRADE - The president of Serbian Resistance Movement Momcilo Trajkovic claims that in the region of Decani and Djakovica municipalities happened the ethnical cleansing of Serbs and demands from negotiation team to ask Albanian representatives about the camp in the village Glodjane, in which, according to information which have SPO, 15 Serbs are detained. The commissioner for refugees of Republic of Serbia for the time being has no precise data about the number of Serbs who were expelled form Kosovo into Serbia, but the data from the field every day confirm that there are some movements within Kosmet, from village to village.

KRALJEVO - The leader of the Serbian Renewal Movement Vuk Draskovic stated in Kraljevo that great Albanian Nazism in Kosovo and Metohija from terrorism was transferred on mass armed rebellion against the state in which ALbanians live and enjoy in all welfare. Draskovic made efforts for giving most modern autonomy to the Serbian Albanians in the framework of Serbia , and finding possibility allow honest Albanians, Romes, Moslems and other who live in that part of Serbia, to participate in units which are pursuing terrorists.

MOSCOW - The attitude of Serbia is that NATO troops can be engaged in Kosovo and Metohija only along with the agreement of leadership of FR Yugoslavia and mandate of UN Security Council . "Kosovo is within the territory of the sovereign state which opinion must be taken into consideration during making decisions about sending troops" - reports the Russian press agency Interfax the statement of the spokesman of the Russian president Sergey Jastrzembsky.

BANJA LUKA - The vice-president of the Serbian Peasants Party of RS Vladimir Usorac stated at the press conference in Banja Luka that this party will, dissatisfied with the attitude of RS Government towards the agricultural producers, demand resignation of all members of Government. Usorac, who is also the president of the Association of agricultural producers of RS, assessed that the Government, besides the timely acquisition and disposal of fuel for spring sowing, had a series of failures in work and cited the strike of 80% of milk producers in RS, which started on May 29 and is still underway.

SARAJEVO - The humanitarian situation in RS is still difficult and is becoming more and more difficult, because all donors are reducing contributions - stated for SRNA the expert associate for humanitarian aid and social activities of the Republican Red Cross Boro Memedovic, but he assessed that there will not happen the humanitarian collapse. "We have indication that in the middle of the next year the World Food Programme, the main donor, will stop with delivery of humanitarian aid, but that is not still finally defined and does not mean that they will not continue their activity furthermore. However, if it was continued, the distribution of food will be significantly decreased in the relation to current one" - explained Memedovic.
