BANJA LUKA - The National Assembly of Republika Srpska /RS/ continued in Banja Luka at 10,00 h AM the Fifth Session by the discussion about the Second item of Agenda - statement of the premier Milorad Dodik about the work of Government in first 100 days. The president of the Assembly Dragan Kalinic informed the delegates that the members of SFOR and IPTF are conducting the inspection of the premises in the house of Assembly in Pale, warning that if he gets the information that they have broken into his office or the office of president of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik, he will break the session and call the delegates to come and convince themselves in that.

BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic departed to more days visit to U.S.A., in order to inform the Serbian Diaspora about the changes in RS. The main target of the journey is the contact with our Diaspora, because in U.S.A. we have a great population, stated president Plavsic before leaving the Banja Luka airport.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the National Assembly of RS Dragan Kalinic announced that the fifth session, which has begun on May 12 in Banja Luka be finished when all items on the agenda were considered and added that only in case that majority of delegates decide that the discussion is finished on several key items, the work eventually could be continued next week. In the special statement for SRNA, after the second day of the work of Assembly, noted that in that case the session would be extended, stressing that for the time being the opinion is prevailing that it will last until exhausting the all agenda.

BERLIN - In Berlin will, on May 15, be held the international conference "The economic forum of RS" at which the republican delegation will be lead by the premier Milorad Dodik, and in its composition will be the vice- president of Government and minister of economy Djuradj Banjac and minister for refugees Miladin Dragicevic. In the work of the conference will participate also the deputy international High Representative in B&H Hans Schumacher, the director of International centre for political migrations from Vienna Mr. Wizgrent and many other persons from the German political and economic life.

SARAJEVO - SFOR and IPTF commenced the joint inspection of respecting Dayton Agreement in all premises of the civil and special police of RS in Pale. As stated in the joint statement of these international forces "because of the recent movement of the RS Government and Ministry of internal Affairs from Pale into Banja Luka, IPTF and SFOR concluded that there is a need for determining legitimacy of all activities of civil and special police in Pale".

NIS - The iron diplomacy of the former U.S. envoy Richatd Holbrooke suddenly lead the president of FR Yugoslavia /FRY/ Slobodan Milosevic to forget teh referendum at which the citizens of Serbia decided not to accept the international mediation in solving the Kosovo crisis - thinks the vice- president of the Democratic Party Ljubisa Vucic. In the yesterday's statement for SRNA he assessed that Milosevic by his accepting to talk on May 15 in Belgrade with the leader of Serbian Albanians Ibrahim Rugova, the internal matter of Serbia raised on the federal level and once again showed that he is ready to forget what he was talking a month ago.

KREGUJEVAC - The stance of the international community is striking more the position of Albanians than Belgrade, because it rejects any possibility of secession and independence of Kosovo, said for SRNA in Kragujevac the member of the forum for international relations in Belgrade Milivoje Maksic. "If Milosevic would change his stance and accept the mediation of the international community, the people would pay him recognition because he overcome himself and found a wise solution in the favour of people", said Maksic.

BANJA LUKA - The delegates of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska /RS/ accepted in Banja Luka the statement about the work of the Government in the period from January 19 until April 29 this year, which on May 13 presented the premier Milorad Dodik, with 45 votes FOR and 34 AGAINST, while no one was restrained. The chief of the delegate club of the Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Aleksa Buha demanded, after the voting about statement, reading of the memorandum of SDS about Brcko, and that delegates gave their attitude about that document. The delegates of the Serbian People's Union /SNS/ and Socialistic Party of RS /SP RS/ think that about this issue need not to be discussed, because by that, as they stressed, is being obstructed the work of the Assembly, and asked for pause. In the continuation of the session of the National Assembly of RS, after a hour and a half pause, the delegates did not accept the demand to give a mandate measure - warning, to the president of Assembly Dragan Kalinic because of the way of leading the session, which sent the delegate of the Independent Social-Democrats Nenad Bastinac. For his demand voted 41 delegate, necessary was 42; against was 30, and restrained two delegates. The chief of delegate club of SDS Aleksa Buha gave up the discussion about the Memorandum about Brcko, but he required that the text should be read before the delegates. The chief of the Club of delegates of SNS Svetozar Mihajlovic insisted that this document have to be considered by the Legislative-legal commission, and the delegate of SDS and the president of this commission Mirko Sarovic accused the club of delegates of SNS that they are conditioning the discussion about Brcko by voting about the confidence for the president of parliament Dragan Kalinic.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Association of Syndicates of RS Cedo Volas protested because the National Assembly and presiding Dragan Kalinic did not allow him to participate in the discussion about the statement of premier Milorad Dodik about the work of the Government in previous 100 days. "It is natural that the Syndicate present its experience about the previous cooperation and come out with the opinions of the workers about the work of Government and to say precisely what has to be done in the next period in the framework of tripartite and social dialogue" - is stressed in the protest.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Social-Liberal party of RS Miodrag Zivanovic called upon the president of RS Biljana Plavsic to dismiss the Republican Parliament again because of its fruitless way of work. At the press conference in Banja Luka Zivanovic assessed that the Serbian returnees to Drvar live in very difficult conditions besides the minimal aid which they are getting from the international community.

BANJA LUKA - The minister of Finance of RS Novak Kondic stated in Banja Luka that at the annual assembly of the European Bank for development and reconstruction, which was held on May 11-13 in Kiev, was shown the great interest for presentation of the programme of RS. Kondic, who was the leader of RS delegation on this assembly, said for SRNA that in Kiev were presented the position and needs of the Republic in order to get support of the European Bank for its development.

SARAJEVO - The UN and IPTF spokesman Alexander Ivanko said in sarajevo that the international police during the today's inspection of respecting the Dayton Agreement in the premises of the civil and special police in Pale checked-up three out of 10 foreseen places and that did not notice unauthorised police activities. "The members of IPTF checked out the buildings of Serbian Radio-TV /SRT/, Serbian Press Agency /SRNA/, and Municipal Assembly", precisely stated Ivanko at the press conference. The SFOR spokesman Peter Clark said that multi-national forces in the framework of this action have a task to conduct the inspection of the five facilities of the special police in Pale.

DOBOJ - The members of the Nordic -Polish brigade of SFOr did not withdraw yet from the transmitter of the Serbian Radio TV /SRT/ on Duga Njiva near Doboj, but they will do that when they get order - stated the spokesman of the brigade major Sjak Hahajm. At the press conference in Doboj he characterised as the news the claims from the National Assembly in Banja Luka that SFOR gave the transmitter to the RS Government.

DOBOJ - The unknown persons destroyed the bridge in the settlement Srnave, municipality Vukosavlje, in the zone of separation between the Republika Srpska /RS/ and Federation B&H /FB&H/, announced in Doboj the spokesman of IPTF Andre Agneli. According to his words, IPTF do not have information about the details of destroying the bridge, including the time of performing this act.

BANJA LUKA - The correspondent of the Agency France Press from Banja Luka Petar Jeknic confirmed that in federal part of Sarajevo he was brutally beaten by the group of Moslems and the policeman who was there did not protect him but he lead him into the police station for hearing. At the press conference in Banja Luka he reminded that the policeman who have brought him into the police station said that he personally had beaten him because of resisting to arresting, and categorically said that it is not a truth.

SIPOVO - His Holy Highness the Serbian patriarch Mr. Pavle will visit on June 13 and 14 Sipovo where at the invitation of the Bihac-Petrovac eparchy he will serve the praying on the occasion of the celebrity of Janjski Sabor (Synod), which is traditionally being held every June near the monastery Glogovac. From the Board for the celebration for SRNA was confirmed that patriarch Pavle, on the first day of stay in Sipovo, will serve the evening service for God with bishops and on the day of Synod June 14 the praying in the monastery Glogovac.

BANJA LUKA - The mayor of Banja Luka Djordje Umicevic talked with the delegation of the German provinces Rheinland and Westphalia about making the economic conditions for return of refugees who want that and now are in these provinces, without violating the present ethnical structure of the population. The miinister of Internal Affairs of the North Rheinland Franz Kniola informed Umicevic that in these two provinces live 50,000 refugees from B&H, two thirds being from RS. According to him, the action of return would imply the realisation of projects in the field of housing construction and public utility infrastructure.

NOVI SAD - According to the allegations of the Novi Sad's news "Dnevnik" /Daily news/, in the organisation of UNHCR and Association for return of Serbs in the Bosnian Krajina, into Petrovac, which is in the region of FB&H, would have travel 50 Serbian refugees temporarily accommodated in Celarevo near the Backa Palanka. According to the same source, to this group of refugees should be joined the 100 expelled persons from Glamoc and Sanski Most which have found the temporary shelter in Belgrade.

BELGRADE - The director of the Documentary-informational centre "Veritas" Savo Strbac warned that just now is expiring the deadline of three moths for the fulfilment of the promise of Croatian Government given to Serbs in the Split prison "Stikovo" that their case will be moved from the stalemate. "Out of all that promised the Croatian minister of Justice Separevic was fulfilled almost nothing", said Strbac for SRNA, reminding that Separevic promised to the group of Serbs who conducted the hunger strike, that all their problems will be solved for three months.

DOBOJ - In Svjetlica, the settlement in the zone of separation in the vicinity of Doboj, on the next weekend will be settled 200 returnees from FB&H - was announced by the spokesman of the Nordic-Polish brigade of SFOR major SJak Hahajm. At the press conference in Doboj Hahajm warned that SFOr will use all means anticipated by the Dayton agreement in order to provide this persons with the undisturbed return.

PRISTINA - The worker on the security of the Power Utility of Kosovo in Dobro selo near Obilic Darko Stefanovic /20/ has got the piercing wound in the area of shoulder in the last night's attack of the group of Albanian terrorists. The attack has happened around 20,40 h, and Stefanovic, although wounded, was able to return the fire, after what the terrorists have escaped in the direction of Dobreljevo

BELGRADE - On the regular May's session of the Holy Archpriest's synaxis of the Serbian Orthodox Church /SPC/, which started on May 12 in Belgrade, besides about the actual situation on Kosovo will be discussed also about the regular internal church issues, problems of Serbs in Slavonia and return of Serbian refugees into RS and FB&H. At the session of the Holy Synod are present also all archpriests and SPC will, as SRNA learns in the office of Synod, at the end of the week, when the conclusion of the session is expected, issue the official announcement.

BELGRADE - The military expert general in pension Radovan Radinovic thinks that it is not necessary that the Supreme Council of Defence of FRY meet because of the issue of Kosovo. "The supreme Council of Defence is the collective supreme commander of the armed forces which decides about the use of the army in peace and war, and not a collective chief of the state which is considering the political-security situation on the parts of the state territory" - stated Radinovic for SRNA.

NEW YORK - As SRNA learns, the president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic will meet during her stay in U.S.A. with the members of the Foreign Policy Board of the American Senate. The influential Foreign Policy Board, comprised of the American intellectuals and experienced diplomats, has its seat in this metropolis and important role in creating American foreign policy. The board will organise on Monday May 18 the working breakfast with Mrs. Plavsic, at which will be talked about the future of the Dayton peace process.

BANJA LUKA - The president in the Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik denied before the National Assembly the accusations that he had refused to verify the contract of 60 millions DEM or dollars, because such contract, as he said, did not come in his Cabinet for signature. "As the citizen of this Republic (which so urgently needs the resources), economist who understands that without resources there is no reconstruction of RS, the patriot who from the beginning participated in its creating and as the representative of RS in the joint Presidency, I am astonished with such concoction. Since I have got the information I ordered the checking out these non-logical things and determining the truth", said Krajisnik. He stressed that no any demand of the current Government for ratification of some signed credit did not come on approval, and that he do not know whether it came to some other member of the Presidency. Krajisnik talked in the long speech about the cooperation of the representatives of RS in the joint organs of B&H and political top of RS, arguing with those who are not satisfied with his work.

BANJA LUKA - The president in Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik talked in Banja Luka with the president of the Association of Syndicates of RS Cedo Volas about the activities of this organisation, especially on the international level. During the today's visit to the Council of Syndicates, Krajisnik presented high estimations about the work of this organisation, especially from the aspect of the protection of economic-social interests of workers and pensioners of RS.

BANJA LUKA - The vice-president of RS and the rector of the University in Banja Luka academic Dragoljub Mirjanic talked with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation /RF/ Philip Sidorski about establishing the bilateral cooperation in the field of economy and production between RS and RF. "The concrete discussion about establishing the economic and trade connections will be held at the end of this or the beginning of the next month, when in the work visit to Banja Luka and RS will come the official Russian delegation", i said in the announcement from the Cabinet of the vice- president of RS, forwarded to SRNA.

SARAJEVO - The spokesman of the Office of High Representative /OHR/ for B&H Simon Haselock expressed the satisfaction with the work of the RS Government in the first 100 days, and stressed that all great donors - EU, the World Bank and USAID fully support the efforts of the High Representative for securing for RS honest allocation of funds. "Since the election of Milorad Dodik for president of Government of RS was approved around 217 millions of German Marks and additional 343 millions, through the projects which are in the process of realisation", stressed Haselock at the press conference in Sarajevo.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Association of Syndicates of RS Cedo Volas, the representative of the project "Print" Luigi CHafiero and the coordinator of this project for RS Danko Ruzicic signed in Banja Luka the contract by which was anticipated spending of 32,040 German Marks for equipping the syndicate seat in Doboj. By the contract is anticipated the complete equipping of the syndicate seat for RS in which will be performed the training of the syndicate cadres on all levels, for what will be spent additional 15,000 DEM.

BRCKO - The Presidency of the Veteran organisation in Brcko called the leadership of the political parties in this municipality on the regular talks with the representatives of the Veteran organisation and Association of expelled and displaced persons about all opened matters with which BRcko is being met in the period of arbitrage, with the aim of protection legitimate interests of these categories of population and whole Serbian people. Noting that, as the non-political organisation, they do not want to participate in the political discussions, the members of the Presidency of the Veteran organisation appealed on the politicians in Brcko to "lean on their own consciousness and find the minimum of interest which will unify them in the protection of the vital interests of the Serbian people in this city".

BANJA LUKA - RS will not send the representative on the session of the World Weather organisation in Tel Aviv, because in the delegation of B&H is anticipated only one place for representatives of Srpska, and for Federation B&H /FB&H/ four - stated the director of the Weather Bureau of RS Nebojsa Kustrinovic.

BANJA LUKA - The co-presiding in the Council of Ministers Boro Bosic stated before the delegates of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska /RS/ that the Serbian members in the Council in the work so far did not make mistakes regarding the Dayton agreement nor Constitutions of B&H and RS. "In the future care must be taken about the sharing the legislative authorities between the institutions on the level of B&H and institutions of entities, and that during that do not happen the mixing or reallocation of competence" - said Bosic. He stressed that, pursuant to the Constitution of B&H, the Council of Ministers in some way is the executive authority on the level of B&H, but in those spheres for which is competent according to the constitution.

BANJA LUKA - The deputy presiding of the House of people of Parliamentary Assembly of B&H Momir Tosic said in Banja Luka that the basic task of protection of interests of Serbian people in the work of the House is fully accomplished, and that it is necessary to point out on the fact that this body has appropriate mechanism, which enables the protection of all interests of Serbian people. Presenting on the Fifth session of the National Assembly of RS the report about the work of the delegation of RS in the House, Tosic stated that on the level of both Houses were formed three delegations for international institutions, i.e. delegations for Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, for OSCE and for Inter-parliamentary group of B&H in Interparliamentary union. The presiding of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H Slobodan Bijelic in details informed the delegates of the Parliament of Srpska with the ways of work and previous sessions of this body, assessing that 11 out of 14 delegates from RS in last days is faced with, as he said, re-interpretation of the spirit of the Dayton Agreement.

BANJA LUKA - The minister of Internal Affairs of the German province Westphalia Franz Kniola visited the Centre for education of cadres of internal affairs of RS in Banja Luka with the aim to get acquainted with the conditions of work and realisation of the curriculum process for training young cadre for the needs of police. About the method and ways of work of the pupils in this police academy the guest from Germany was in details informed by the head of the Centre for education of cadres NEdo Sevo.

PODGORICA - The Montenegro company "Montenegro Airlines" in Podgorica signed the agreement with the competent representatives of the airlines companies and competent ministries from B&H about the establishing the air traffic between Montenegro and

B&H. The first aeroplanes from Podgorica and Tivat towards Sarajevo and Banja Luka will fly at the end of this month. The timetable of flights and other details of establishing the air traffic between Montenegro and B&H will be determined soon.

SREBRENICA - In Srebrenica was not established the municipal administration, because after representatives of Serbian people also two Moslem representatives did not accepted the functions of the members of provisional Executive Board, for which they were nominated by OSCE. Danko Mirovic and Rade Golic, who were nominated in the compulsory administration as the representatives of Serbs, did not accept the posts, because they could not accept the provision according to which in case of dispute the arbitrage would be conducted by the foreign mediator.

BIJELJINA - At the regular session of the municipal assembly of Bijeljina was highlighted that in the relation to the last year the total income on the level of economy is increased for 8% and the profit for 4%, while the degree of the economic utilisation in last year was 37%. It is stressed that in last year the production was relatively stable, but that still is low rate of employment and there is the deficiency of the fresh capital and real market.

TESANJ - Croats from the region of Tesanj municipality which by arbitrage decision of the deputy High Representative for B&H Hans Schumacher was allocated to Moslems started with emigration because, as they claim, Moslem authorities of the Zenica-Doboj Canton are mistreating them. By the arbitrage decision was established the municipality Usora, by which more than 2,300 Croats were left in majority Moslem Zenica-Doboj Canton - reminds Radio Herzeg-BOsna.

NIS - The Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ is very content because already on Monday will start in Pristina the talks between the members of Government of Republic Serbia and the representatives of Albanian national minority without foreign observers and without any conditioning, stated in Nis the president of the municipal board of SRS Vlastimir Jovanovic. In the statement for SRNA he stated that it could be considered as the full success of the Government of the national unity, because, although in organising the future contacts participated Richard Holbrooke and Robert Gelbard, the mere negotiations between Serbian and Albanian party will be lead without interfering of the foreign observers.

SOPHIA - The Turkish minister of Foreign Affairs Ismail Dzem demanded the deployment of NATO troops in the border states with FR Yugoslavia /FRY/, in case that conflicts in Kosovo escalate, report the agencies. "We think that NATO should have the major role in the stabilisation in region around Kosovo", stated Dzem at the press conference with the Bulgarian counterpart Nadezda Mihailova at the end of his two days visit to Sophia. Dzem and Mihailova expressed the hope that the two parties will in peaceful way find the solution of conflicts.

PODGORICA - The president of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic received the representatives of Government and some respectful bankers , businessmen and university professors from Slovenia with Janez Drnovsek and Jozo Brodnik, the director of the Directorate for development of highways in Slovenia, and talked about the possibilities of the cooperation in the field of infrastructure. The accent was on the possible cooperation of the two republics on the construction of highways.

PODGORICA - The president of Montenegro Milo DJukanovic talked with the academics Obren Blagojevic, Alksandar Fire and Slobodan Perovic - the participants of the scientific gathering "The World theory, philosophy and sociology of justice - the situation and problems" - about the state of legal science and activities of the Associations of legal workers and other judiciary associations.

ZAGREB - The premier of Croatia Zlatko Matesa nominated the minister of Health Andrija Hebrang for minister of Defence, instead of Gojko Susak, who died last week, and the Croatian president Franjo Tudjman did not gave his stance about that yet. Hebrang is the influential person in the governing Croatian Democratic Community /HDZ/ and most outstanding member of hardline faction.

SAMAC - For the building of the Regional Centre for protection of fire in Samac, which will cover 200,000 hectares of tillable land, will be necessary 100,000 of DEM, and the way of financing is not determined neither after the meeting of the representatives of 12 municipalities of Posavina, Semberija and Majevica. The representatives of the municipalities of the North part of RS supported the project, and the amount of resources which will give the municipalities was determined.
