BIJELJINA - The presiding of the Work Presidency of National Assembly of Republika Srpska /NA RS/ Dragan Kalinic informed the delegates at the session in Bijeljina that with the chiefs of delegate clubs was reached an agreement that mandator Mladen Ivanic conduct the separate consultations about forming new government. According to him, such method of work is conditioned with lack of time in the work of Assembly, because still the Agenda was not discussed, i.e. the Report of the Commission for election and nominations and forming the leadership of parliament.

SARAJEVO - The special U.S. envoy for Balkans Robert Gelbard should meet the Chairman of the Presidency of B&H Alija Izetbegovic - reports the Moslem radio in Sarajevo. Izetbegovic's counsellor for Foreign Affairs Mirza Hajric confirmed that Izetbegovic's Cabinet will demand from Gelbard faster solving the issue of B&H flag and design of currency.

SARAJEVO - The spokesman of SFOR Louis Garnot confirmed that multi-national forces did not allow the access for the team of "Telecommunications" from Pale to the radio-relay transmitter on Trebevic, which had to remove the defect because of which already three days Sarajevo-Romanija region has no telephone connections with the world. He stressed that to the team of "Telecommunications" was forbidden the access because of "precaution" and that this "security measure was introduced because of the session of NARS in Bijeljina".

BIJELJINA - The delegates of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska /NARS/ have elected at the Inaugural session in Bijeljina the candidate of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Dragan Kalinic for the president of this highest legislative body. At the proposal of the Commission for elections and nominations, presented by its president Branimir Savovic, the delegates have elected the vice-presidents of NA RS, Nikola Poplasen from Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ and Jovan Mitrovic from Serbian People's Union /SNS/ "Biljana Plavsic". New secretary general of NARS is the candidate of the Socialistic Party of RS Momir Malic, while his deputy is Staka Gojkovic from SDS.

BIJELJINA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic stated in Bijeljina, after the finishing the Inaugural session of NA RS, that "the maximal efforts were made in order to form the state institutions as soon as possible, because otherwise we can start to go forward". "If the delegates in assembly are dragging out with that - make obstruction, they do not have any responsibility for people. On the contrary, they are working on the detriment of its life, not on improvement" - said Mrs. Plavsic for the Banja Luka studio of Serbian radio-TV /SRT/.

BIJELJINA - The president of NARS Dragan Kalinic stated in Bijeljina that by constituting the parliament was solved a part of the crisis in state. After the finish of the assembly session said for Banja Luka studio of SRT that people's delegates after hard and painstaking work and various procedural combinations nevertheless succeeded to harmonise attitudes and elect the assembly organs, which alleviated the situation in RS.

BIJELJINA - The delegates of SDS and SRS at the consultative meeting in Bijeljina with the candidate for mandator of the government Mladen Ivanic did not accept offered concept of RS government. According to his opinion, four ministries would be given to SDS, two for each SRS, SNS, and SPRS, and one to the Party of Independent Social-Democrats /SNSD/. The government would, as Ivandic suggests, have three vice-presidents - two from SDS and SRS, and one from the group of parties SNS, SP and SNSD.

SARAJEVO - The press service of SFOR in Sarajevo stated that the Office of the High civilian Representative for B&H and multiethnical forces did not disturb the signal from Veliki Zep, Kmur and Leotar during the coverage of the Inaugural session of NARS in Bijeljina.
