NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SOKOLAC - The Prime Minister of the Government of Republika Srpska Gojko Klickovic emphasised in Sokolac that RS Government, although without aid of International Community, attempts to provide financial support for economy. Conclusions of yesterdays meeting with the merchants of Sokolac municipality, are that works on 13 projects are in progress and among them building of the airport. Assessments are that the utilisation of production capacity is still very low, and that very significant UNIS factory of ball bearings still cannot to start the production.

SOKOLAC - The Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) had achieved significant results what the RS people appreciates and because of that we are not afraid of forthcoming parliamentary elections - emphasised the Head of the SDS parliamentary club Vojislav Maksimovic at the SDS pre-election tribune in Sokolac. Referring on the current political situation in RS Maksimovic said that "political stage is overflowed with many parties which have unclear profile and orientation what confuses the people" and added that "the voters will know to recognise the place of SDS."

BAGHDAD - Four UN arms teams halted their inspection after the Iraqi authorities banned for the seventh day running the American members of the teams to enter sites - reports Reuters quoting the INA. This ban is in accordance with the October 29 decision of Revolutionary Command Council, claims INA.

NEW YORK - The White House representative Ann Luzato stated that the US President Bill Clinton, his military advisers and the top team for questions of Foreign policy considered last night a possible steps and measures which will USA take over in connection with the newest Iraqi crisis.

BANJALUKA - The representatives of "Black Wolf" bookstore from Oxford and the "SOS" humanitarian organisation for assistance to universities promised to RS Vice- President and rector of Banjaluka university Dragoljub Mirjanic that they will in a 15 days deadline deliver newest editions on English language to universities in RS. According to Mirjanic the agreement was reached that the next delivery of scientific literature, magazines and journals for universities in RS will be in March or April next year.

SARAJEVO - The Muslim soldiers during the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) murdered hundreds, if not thousands of Serb civilians in Sarajevo - reports the weekend issue of the newspaper "International Herald Tribune" citing the official Muslim military court documents. According to the British newspaper these documents partly published in independent magazine "Dani" are first official confirmation of Muslim war crimes in Sarajevo.

SARAJEVO - The Muslim media in Sarajevo considers that order of the FB&H Army Commander general Rasim Delic by which is receiving of persons from mixed marriages in professional army banned "officially do not exist, but unofficially - everybody had saw it" writes the TANJUG correspondent from this city Zdravko Milanovic. Milanovic reminds that delegate Igor Rajner asked this question at the House of Representatives of FB&H Parliament session and "receive no answer, but the Government i.e. competent Ministry is obligated to answer it at the next session".

PARIS - In the French monthly publication "Balkan-Info" the well known journalist Komnen Becirevic presented arguments which denied the Muslim newspaper "Ljiljan" claims that Muslim members of the 13 SS Division at September 17 1943 during WW II liberated French town Villefranshe de Rusrg.

PODGORICA - During the parliamentary elections in RS at November 22 and 23 in RS all displaced persons from RS and FB&H which had voted on previous local elections in RS can vote in Montenegro at eight pooling stations in Podgorica, Bar, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Niksic, Pjevlje, Bijelo Polje and Plav.

ROME - The Italian newspaper "Stampa" assessed that newlyelected President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic could be a man which will "lead the Federal Republic Yugoslavia out of the crisis and reinclude her in the International Community". The newspaper quoted Djukanovic as saying that his primary aim is the rooting out of illegal economy which was "unavoidable evil during the international sanctions".
