BERLIN - An exhibition of photographs and documents on crimes that the German Army committed in then Yugoslavia in Second World War, mostly against the Serbs and Jews, will be opened in Berlin from May 7 to 20. The Berlin paper "Junge Welt" writes the publisher from Haydenberg found inspiration to prepare the exhibition in the engagement of the German Army in the Balkans.

HAMBURG - It is beyond any doubt that B-H as created by German media has noting to do with reality, writes Volfgang Snieder in his preface to a book "German Propaganda and Balkan War", which explains the anti-Serb propaganda campaign by German media. "German Propaganda and Balkan War" represents a selection of articles mostly published in the Hamburg monthly political magazine "Konkret".

HAMBURG - Carl Bildt's statement that "the peace process in B-H is still fragile and a danger of its collapse realistic", the German media explain as "clear warning at a possibility of renewal of armed conflicts". The DPA reports Bildt assessed in Washington that the presence of foreign troops is the only thing to prevent possible conflicts.

STOCKHOLM - Following three-day talks in the UN and meetings with US and foreign diplomats in Washington, high representative for civil affairs, Carl Bildt, expressed his optimism regarding the strengthening of peace in B-H, saying that it would be very naive to think that causes of the conflicts would be easily removed, writes the Swedish "Dages Niheter". According to the paper, "US Defence Department experts for B-H carefully reviewed Bildt's notion about the securing of peace after summer 1998 deadline for the withdrawal of the US troops".

BANJALUKA - All technical preparations for the voters registration - which should take place from May 5 to June 16 - for the up-coming municipal elections in Republika Srpska (RS) and the Federation of B-H are done, stated the president of the local Electoral Commission Vukadin Boskovic.
