SARAJEVO - The president of National Assembly of Republika Srpska /NS RS/
Dragan Kalinic assessed the seventh session of the assembly as significant
because, as he said, after all, nevertheless, it reached political
consensus about the key issues of economic policy in this year. The
president Kalinic in the statement for SRNA stressed that regrding the very
specific position and economic prospect of RS as country in transition, in
the process of democratisation and simultaneous renewal of ruined
infrastructure, the key parliamentary parties evinced the significant
degree of concordance. "That enabled us in principle to adopt the Basis of
Economic Policy", said the president of the National Assembly.
PALE - The acting president of the Serbian democratic Party /SDS/ of RS
Aleksa Buha stated after the meeting with the delegation of the Croatian
Democratic Community /HDZ/ of B&H in Pale that "in the work of joint organs
the domination of one nation is unallowable, as well as alliance of two
nations against the third". While commenting the newest statement of Alija
Izetbegovic, who in the name of the Presidency of B&H gave the assessment
about the implementation of Dayton Agreement without having consultations
with two other members of the Presidency, Buha stressed that with "such
practice will not agree neither Serbs nor Croats".
BRCKO - The supervisor for Brcko Bil Farrand confirmed at the press
conference that in the Article 7. of the Procedure on return in Brcko is
precisely stated that the returnees must be loyal to the existing laws and
regulations. While reacting on the last nights statement of the president

the TV channel of the Tuzla-Podrinje Canton, that in the case of returning
in Brcko "has no intention to accept the documents of RS", what he
also suggested to his fellow townsmen, Farrand called upon the Dayton.
SARAJEVO - The ministry of the Internal Affairs of RS /MUP/ submitted the
criminal charge to the Municipal Public Prosecutor in Sokolac against
Nedeljko Milic and Zeljko Minic because of the founded suspicion that on
March 7, 1997 at Ravna Romanija /mountain/ they committed the criminal act
of robbery from the article 150. of the Criminal Law of RS - special part.
SARAJEVO - OSCE condemned the refusing of the major of Drvar Borivoj
Malbasic to send the public apologise to Serbs in Banja Luka, because his
false assertion that Serbs are responsible for placing the explosive
devices in Drvar, it is announced from the Regional Office of OSCE in
Sokolac.
ROME - The international community must be prepared to the fact that its
military presence in B&H will last for years, and perhaps the decades - it
is stated in the conclusion of the international Institute for the
strategic researches, which study was issued in London. While the Western
Europe is occupied with itself and its own problems of integration with
central and part of Eastern Europe, in B&H nobody shoots, but the peace is
not stabilised at all - it is said in the elaborate.
