Buha pointed out that the future common bodies will normally function, "only if the principle of equality is introduced", and assessed that it was illogical to postpone the municipal elections because this "makes double job". SARAJEVO - The president of the RS National Assembly, Momci lo Krajisnik, met in Pale with high representative of the inter national community, Carl Bildt, to discuss the elections and preparations for the functioning of the common bodies. SARAJEVO - The RS Electoral Commission announced that data available until noon say that 1,357,336 votes were counted; 14,498 voters were registered in Vlasenica, 43,470 in Doboj, and 2,862 Ljubinje. In Pale, 16,118 voters were registered, and 3,400 or 78 per cent of voters. BANJALUKA - At a joint IFOR, IPTF and OSCE press conference, in Banjaluka, the OSCE spokesman Thomas Milerina, confirmed that all local electoral commissions in western RS yesterday started counting of ballots. He reaffirmed that all information on first recounted voters for the union presidency can be expected tomor row evening or day after tomorrow. SARAJEVO - The Serbian Democratic Party's for the Serb representative in the future joint presidency B-H, Momcilo Kra jisnik got 15,000 voters in Pale Municipality, reports AFP, referring to the local centre for counting of votes. BEOGRAD - The Democratic Party (DS) spokesman, Slobodan Vuksanovic, assessed that the SDS victory at the elections in RS is more than obvious. "For DS the SDS's victory has never been questionable, and the most important thing is that the victory is as much convincing as possible", stated Vuksanovic. BEOGRAD - The vicepresident of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Tomsiav Nikolic, expressed his belief that the "Serb patri otic parties will win the elections in RS". "The election day fulfilled expectations of the SRS and its followers. The Serbs did respond for they knew that these elections are to decide their destiny", stated Nikolic. SARAJEVO - According to Sarajevo's CNN correspondent, Chrstian Amanpour, Alija Izetbegovic leads among candidates for the B-H presidency with 76 per cent of votes, and is followed by Haris Silajdzic with 20 per cent of votes. Alija Izetbegovic is leading candidate in two Sarajevo municipalities, announced OSCE.
