The shores of Kalymnos are swarming with wind surfers, and water skiers every year. On the beaches of Kalymnos, Myrties and Massouri, one can rent the appropriate gear, canoes and paddle boats. The sea is ideal for underwater fishing and diving. Kalymnians have a tradition of diving for sponge fish. In the capital there is a diving school where one can rent diving equipment.
