For all practical purposes all of the military organizations in
Bosnia-Herzegovina are ground forces. Small aviation elements that exist
merely provide support for ground troops (observation and transport). The
only known exception are the Bosnian Serbs who on a number of occasions
used ground attact aircraft (based in Banja Luka).
