ANKARA - Red Crescent's humanitarian aid convoy composed of four trucks
and a communication equipment left for Iraq on Friday.

POSSIBILITY OF A NEW ATTACK IN TURKEY''
ANKARA - Security Directorate General Spokesman Feyzullah Arslan said
on Friday that there was no possibility of a new terrorist attack in
Turkey, stating that police took every kind of measures.
[03] NATIONAL EDUCATION MINISTRY'S AMENDED REGULATION ON DIFFERENT
LANGUAGES AND DIALECTS GOES INTO FORCE
ANKARA - The regulation on ''learning of different languages and
dialects spoken traditionally by Turkish citizens in their daily life''
has been amended.

WHICH CAN TAKE PART IN TENDERS ON RECONSTRUCTION OF IRAQ''
WASHINGTON D.C. - Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal said on
Friday that during his contacts in Washington D.C. the U.S. officially
confirmed that Turkish companies also took part in the list of
countries that could compete directly in giant tenders worth of 18.7
billion U.S. dollars regarding the reconstruction of Iraq.

[05] JUSTICE MINISTER CICEK: ''PM ERDOGAN WILL VISIT WASHINGTON AT THE
BEGINNING OF 2004''
WASHINGTON D.C. - Justice Minister Cemil Cicek said Friday that Prime
Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would visit Washington at the beginning
of 2004, and thus Turkish-U.S. relations would be discussed in the
highest level.
