ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul
summoned ambassadors of Italy and Britain to Turkey to Foreign Ministry
to convey the uneasiness felt over decision of UEFA.

GENERAL, DIES IN HOSPITAL
ISTANBUL - Nazmiye Cirik, 28, who was injured in bomb attack on British
Consulate General in Istanbul, lost her life in Taksim Training and
Research Hospital on Wednesday.

GALATASARAY AND BESIKTAS HAS GAINED A DIPLOMATIC DIMENSION
ANKARA - State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin said
on Wednesday that switching of venues of Champions League matches of
Galatasaray and Besiktas teams of Turkey with Juventus of Italy and
Chelsea of Britain had gained a diplomatic dimension.

ISTANBUL - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that if
they were to form an international platform against terrorism,
countries or international organizations who were saying that they were
friends of Turkey should show sensitivity about this issue.
